"About this job: I met with a guy around 5pm to see and give an estimate for this job. I met the same guy the day we did the abatement but not at the end of day. The scheduled job date was January 9th, 2022. We performed our containment under negative pressure, we pulled a permit, and air testing was done. Both permit and air samples were sent to the guy we have on file via email. Normally, in similar jobs, in the morning up to lunch hour, we set up/ build the containment. The boiler gets critical covered in plastic so it does not get contaminated as it is inside the containment area. We do not turn the boiler off. Full payment for this job was received on January 18th, 2022, about nine days after the job was completed via credit card. We did not hear of any complaint for this job in those nine days prior to when full payment was made. About a month later, on February 10th, 2022 we received a call from a lady about this job complaint. We did not hear anything from the guy we originally met and have on file whom we spoke to to confirm the job and saw the day of the job. When our insurance rep stopped by, she was unsure when we were even there to do the job. Aztec Asbestos Removal LLC has been in business since 2011, and we have never received a bad review. We make safety our number one priority and I am very careful at the houses I work at, I treat them as my own. This is the first claim, and bad review in 10 years. Old boilers tend to break in the middle of winters in vacant homes or when people are on vacation, especially this year since we had a cold winter, but this is what insurance is for. We filed a claim to our liability policy about this, and it was taken care of."
