"The windshield on my Prius was replaced last June by another provider under my comprehensive insurance glass coverage, and this winter the car developed a sneaky water leak that caused mysterious intermittent electrical problems that cost over $1,000 in dealer diagnostic/repair costs until they accidentally saw water dripping on connectors under the dash. The other provider settled a warranty claim, actually totaling the car because of potential repair costs (likening it to a flood car), and we agreed to a settlement under which I retained the car for the settlement amount less salvage value.
I decided to keep and try to repair the car, so I asked them to fix the windshield leak, but they refused?washing their hands of the car after the settlement. So after consulting Angie I contacted Gregg Wickland of Glass Installers Plus to get a quote on resealing the windshield. He explained that the problem probably wasn't the windshield seal itself, but an issue with the plastic cowl underneath the windshield that diverts water from the fresh air intakes (this would have been removed and replaced during the windshield replacement). He suggested several diagnostic procedures I could perform to isolate the problem, and acknowledged that if the problem was the cowl I could probably fix it myself.
So Gregg not only talked me out of spending money on possibly unnecessary services, he spent about half an hour of valuable time pointing me in the right direction. That's service!
I will file a followup once I resolve the leaking issue.

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "Tony and his team did an awesome job! We needed our side door steps replaced. I really didn't think it would be much more than just replacing the rotting wood planks with new wood. Boy was I wrong. Tony explained everything that would need to be done in order to pass a city inspection. He replaced the steps, the deck, the posts, and the railings. Hello, I am Sam the Handy Man, I am a Licensed Building Contractor in the State of Minnesota and fully insured up to a million dollars per state requirements.\n\nI started this as a handyman business and quickly moved up into larger jobs and now focus mostly on remodels basements bathrooms interior remodels but I can handle anything exterior and exterior on residential homes. \nBeing licensed allows me to hire subcontractors for plumbing and electrical if needed. But I can work on existing electrical and existing plumbing. \nI try to work 5 to 6 days a week, I offer free quotes. My typical hours run between 8 and 9, to 3 to 4. For most jobs I charge by the hour, material costs are on the client, and I have a general contract everybody signs.

"Paul and his partner were great to work with, they arrived at exactly the time agreed upon and worked tirelssly, no breaks moving quickly from one project to the next for 5 straight hours. Although DIY home repairs is not their primary work (carpentry) they took it all on and completed more than I expected to get done in this period of time.
They were completely professional, did quality work and were easy to work with. Paul was very open about not doing work he was not licensed for - plumbing and electrical, but provided advice on how work could be done. 
I will use Paul and his team again and would highly recommend him to others!
