Binder Heating & Air Conditioning has been a local, family owned business for over 80 years. In that time, we have helped countless customers stay comfortable in their homes and offices by meeting all their heating and cooling needs. Great communication and follow up. Timely response and both the Office Staff and Jason, the onsite technician were professional and through with their handling of the repair.

They found a switch that was starting to fail. Instead of using the mfr recommended part ($250) they used a 3rd party part (from the same mfr) for $80. I love it when they save me $ by going the extra mile to find more reasonably priced parts.

They are prompt, efficient, very knowledgeable and polite. Their pricing is always reasonable. I have used their services for 18 years and have been very satisfied with them. This fall they cleaned and tuned up my furnace and will check out my a/c next spring for the fee paid.

Wonderful service and excellent prices! Our family has relied on Binder Furnace and Air Conditioning for many decades and they have always provided very fast, reliable and extremely high quality services. They have repaired and serviced our home furnace and air conditioner and have kept both units working reliably for the last forty years (…yes, that’s forty years on the same furnace and air conditioner)! Early this January, our furnace blower finally stopped working. It was very late on an extremely cold, sub-zero Friday afternoon. Despite the weather, Binder’s had a repairman out that same afternoon and he made a temporary repair to keep the furnace working. We talked with Rick Binder the following Monday. He came out and measured our house, inspected our air ducts and explained the pros and cons of different models and brands in very understandable terms. The Binder team was on-site early the next morning and had the furnace installed and operating that same day. The new furnace has worked very reliably since the installation. Great service! And we should mention the excellent office staff and repair personnel. They are extremely helpful, efficient and provide great support and follow-up for customers. Over the decades, we have come to rely on Binder's services and have strongly recommended them to family members and friends. The feedback has always been excellent. We cannot recommend Binder’s Furnace and Air Conditioning too strongly. Thank you Binder’s!

I am really impressed with Binder, from start to finish of the project. I really felt that they were straight forward with me by educating me on the pros and cons of doing an entire system versus just the A/C, as well as explaining various pros and cons to different models and brands of equipment. During the bid process they noticed our home had the ductwork for a zone system, but it was never installed. They were proactive about letting us know this, which was great because the temperature variance in the two story home was a source of frustration for us. Ultimately, we choose to install the zoning components and the furnace and A/C that would best utilize that new capability. We are so pleased. It’s like living in an entirely new home! Thanks Binder!

The technician arrived at 9am (for the 9a-12p service window), addressed the root issue, put in an order for the right size capacitor and returned around 1:30p (for the 1-3p service window) with the parts and completed the repair.

I went through Angie's List when my air conditioner crapped out -- they did a great job, fantastic. They undercut, like, they were, like, $2,000, under, like the closet competition.They did an amazing job. The owner of the company came out; I found that to be quite remarkable. I would use them again in the future in a second and I have referred them numerous times.

They were excellent. They were outstanding, I highly recommend them. They’re incredibly good. Pricing was very good. They were very good. They came out the next morning for her. As a matter of fact, we are going to have them install our furnace and air this fall. They were just tremendous, I can’t compliment than enough both in professionalism and just coming right out.

We called at 7:40 am, and were told a tech would be here between 9 am - 12 pm. A service tech was here at 9 am on the dot, examined the furnace, and determined we could just replace the capacitor, but our motor appeared to be showing its age with leaking oil and recommended replacement. We went ahead with that, and he was out the door by 10 am. The tech was professional, competent, polite, and well-informed. As I've come to expect from Binder over the years - they do annual maintenance on my furnace, successfully disassembled and reassembled my furnace a few years ago after a water leak from an upstairs condo unit meant the sheetrock behind the furnace needed replacing, and they installed a new AC unit earlier this year. I really can't recommend them enough - HVAC stuff is always going to incur a certain amount of expense, but I feel the pricing is fair here for the excellent quality of work.

I was a little thrown off at first during the estimate because he was in and out very quickly and didn't seem to discuss much about the job. I was a little uneasy with selecting Binder, however after their estimate came in much lower than all other estimates, I gave them another shot. Called them up and asked to have them come out again to discuss the job in further detail. After that second conversation I felt much better and realized he was in and out so quickly the first time because he knew what he was talking about.
The actual install went extremely smooth and the installer was excellent. Extremely personable, walked me through all of the details and very professional. He was able to accommodate everything we wanted down to every last detail. The original plan was going to require a small soffet in the basement bedroom, however he was able to install it so that the soffet was no longer needed. He was also able to run a supply line down a joist cavity that we originally didn't think was possible. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were remodeling our back foyer entry: removing an old bulit-in bench and replacing all of the floor tile and then reinstalling new cabinets over the spot where the bench was located. During our demolition, we discovered a vent under the bench that was going to need to be converted to a floor vent in order for our tile guys to continue their work. I called Binder on Monday afternoon and asked if they could send someone out ASAP. Although they were booked on Tuesday, someone was here at 8am sharp on Wednesday morning and he was done within the hour so that our other contractors could continue. Thanks for the quick response and job well done!

After he initially couldn't figure it out, I was going to return them ($299 thermostats) but he had me wait until he had a chance to figure it out. He really did a great job. And then stuck around to make sure the furnace worked. You guys have a long term customer now!!! Nick is phenomenal.

Great experience. I ended up wanting to upgrade the humidifier to an automatic version and my installer happily went back to the shop to get the upgraded item. Everything is working great - would recommend using this firm to all.
