I was then charged a ridiculous $830. I feel I was way overcharged and am not happy with this. I do not recommend Dean's Home Services."

"From the moment they confirmed my appointment, to the time they left my house smiling and wishing me well, the gentlemen from Randy's Electric proved that they are the ONLY electrical service that I will ever need! Their estimated arrival time was between 10:00 am and 12 noon. Fortunately, I did not have to put my life on hold for 2 hours to wait for them. Shortly before 10:00 am, Jeremy called to let me know that they were in my neighborhood. He gave me an accurate arrival time. Wonderful! "I am a 76 year old woman who lives alone. I have three bathrooms in my home and called Boevaag Plumbing to repair one of the toilets. The service on August 22, 2024, was a replaced fill valve and flapper and the cost was $195.00. As long as the plumber was already onsite, I asked him to look at a second toilet that I thought might also needed a new fill valve and flapper. The plumber confirmed that was needed and asked if I wanted him to go ahead and do the repair. I asked him to do so. I naively did not ask what that additional repair would cost and assumed it wouldn't be another $195 as he was already on site. The plumber was very nice and left my home in clean condition. On completion of the second repair, I received a bill of $390! I was speechless and just wrote out a check. I wrestled for a couple of weeks with whether or not to call just to communicate my thoughts. I decided to write it off and never make the same mistake again. Shortly after the repair, the second toilet was giving me some problem. I called Boevaag and Jeff came out, at no charge. He found a piece of plastic in the new part that he thought was the culprit. A few weeks later the same issue presented. On December 5, 2024, I called Boevaag and told them the issue had not been resolved. Joe said he would get back to me. I called again on December 13, 2024 because I had not heard from Joe, left a message and Joe texted back, "Yes, you are on our list. With this cold weather we have been backed way up." With Christmas and the new year coming up, I chose to wait to hear back. Today is January 6, 2025. As I have not heard back, I called and talked to Joe. Joe assumed Jeff had followed up and resolved the issue. As that is not the case, I offered to accept a $150 refund and I would hire someone else to fix the problem. Joe said he would talk with Jeff to get the problem fixed and he hung up. I know plumbing repair is expensive and I may be wrong, but I feel, as an older single woman, I was taken advantage of. Joe has no customer service etiquette. He is rude and condescending. NO....I would definitely not recommend Boevaag Plumbing."

"As a person in the plumbing trades both new construction and service work I have come to appreciate the skills of someone who does a craft full time and is encouraged to develop skills to make it “their” full time occupation and career. Drain cleaning is part of maintaining a plumbing system. It is a craft different than installing and repairing plumbing but it is just as important to do it correctly. The other values in McDonough’s services are several having the equipment and personnel trained and available is paramount to this no matter how big a job has gotten they have never stopped until it was completed! The other feature that is not fully understood by many is that it is always best to use someone that has only one purpose in mind and that is to get the drain cleaned and inspected and has no reason to up sell you on some repairs or replacement that you don’t need. That why we use them as a plumbing company and recommend them to our valued clients. Great company that invests in training, retaining and having the equipment that their service people need to be efficient, productive and provide the services that they are being relied on to provide."

"Excellent experience. The owner Kelly and the installer/plumber Chad were very professional and knowledgeable. Chad did a great job with my numerous plumbing issues: installed a new outdoor spigot, in the kitchen replaced faucet and added a turn off valve, replaced old tub piping and drain, repaired leaking bathroom sink drain and resolved issue with laundry room floor drain.
