I needed to replace an aging water heater with a new one. Chad, one of the plumbers, came out and gave me a quote for a gravity feed and power vent water heater. I went with the power vent model. On the day of the install, I was also having the old flue abated and Chad worked with and around the other crew to keep everything going smoothly. The installation of the venting was a little more complicated because of the layout of my house, but Chad did a great job. The final bill was the same as the bid, so no surprises when the bill arrived. The water heater passed inspection easily and I am happy with the new water heater.

I called Blaylock plumbing because I needed someone to take a look at my shower spigot because water was flowing out of it even when the shower was on. I also had a smaller amount of water leaking from my hot water handle. They were able to send someone out right away due to a cancellation. They replaced the spigot with a replacement I had previously purchased. I opted not to do anything about the hot water handle because the person they sent out said that he could try to repair it but there was a chance that it might not work and that then it would necessitate a far more pricey repair. I really appreciated the transparency and honesty and would not hesitate to go through this company for future needs.

The same afternoon after I contacted them Dan Blaylock went out to look things over and try and verify what needed to be done. The next morning they had two big guys out to did through a foot of frozen turn and locate the cover to the steel tank, break loose the old bolts, verify that the pump was bad, call me about a replacement, get one, get it all put back together and working again, and then throw the dirt back on top to fill in the hole until we can get back at it for a more permanent solution in the spring. We had company coming to stay that weekend and were a little panicked. We couldn't have been any happier that they were able to save us from what could have been a terrible situation. It wasn't cheap, I'm not saying it was overpriced, not at all, I'm just saying it wasn't cheap--but whad'ya do....

Toilet flapper was replaced. Cost $252 for this. Blaylock does not unplug kitchen sinks so work not done. Had to hire someone else. Bathroom sink still leaks. Will have to hire someone else.

Blaylock plumbing is great, Chad is my man, he arrived on time, friendly new exactly what to do and got right to work. He fixed it fast and cleaned up behind himself. I would highly recommend them to anyone.  Blaylock plumbing stands behind their work.

It all went just fine, work was completed as requested with the exception that I also asked the person to fix a bathroom sink drain that wouldn't hold water.  He looked at it and made a statement that it was missing a part, but made no reference what-so-ever to repairing it which is what I wanted.

When I made the appointment, I was not made aware that the fees start the second the repair person leaves their shop, and the meter runs whilst they drive both to and from the worksite.  Had I known that, I certainly would have chosen a plumbing service much closer to home.

My leasing agent called to tell me my tenants had a major backup in the basement.  She had Roto-Rooter out to clean out the sewer line.  Then the Roto-Rooter guy put a camera through and said we needed replace part of the pipe, which he would be happy to do by digging 10 feet down into our yard for an arm and a leg.  Feeling more than slightly panicked, I nevertheless decided to call around.  When I talked to Dan at Blaylock Plumbing, first he quoted me a price for the service roughly a third of what Roto-Rooter charges.  Then, he brought his own camera out to the property and moments later called to inform me that he didn't think the repair was even necessary.  I'm so thankful to have learned my lesson the easy way, and for any future plumbing issues, I will call Blaylock Plumbing.

They're good.  They're very helpful.  When I made the phone call; they came out the same day.  They recognize customers and they just take care of us.

Broken sewer pipe was 14 feet deep and they had to dig in a very tight space between my electricity and gas lines. The break ended up being directly below my gas line and slightly outside of the excavation box. I thought it was totally hopeless but they were calm and professional and improvised a way to make it work. They had put the huge mound of dirt on special boards so everything went back into the hole so all I have in my yard is a relatively small 4x8 section to re-sod. Those guys are the BEST!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor in over 25 years.
Customer Service is awful. Ethics are questionable.
The plumber did not put tarps down and there was soot tracked all over my beige carpet on the floor and stairs.  When I mentioned this issue, all I got was a response of ?oops?.  I will have to clean my carpets.  After several exchanges with
the owner,  I finally received an insincere apology and no offer to pay for the carpet cleaning.
The work also failed inspection for two items.  I had to take time off of work to have the repairs done.  Even after it was done, it
was not correct. The pictures sent to the inspector did not match what was requested to solve the issue.  I ended up fixing
one piece myself, rather than taking time off of work to get it done right.
I would never use this contractor again.  They do not seem to have any semblance of customer focus, being respectful of my property and time.
