The upfront scoping of the project was excellent. Joe spent the right amount of time getting the details right so when his crew arrived to do the work, they already knew what they had to do. The pricing was competitive as well, plus they offered me an extended warranty for the water heater over and above the standard warranty.

I am a 76 year old woman who lives alone. I have three bathrooms in my home and called Boevaag Plumbing to repair one of the toilets. The service on August 22, 2024, was a replaced fill valve and flapper and the cost was $195.00. As long as the plumber was already onsite, I asked him to look at a second toilet that I thought might also needed a new fill valve and flapper. The plumber confirmed that was needed and asked if I wanted him to go ahead and do the repair. I asked him to do so. I naively did not ask what that additional repair would cost and assumed it wouldn't be another $195 as he was already on site. The plumber was very nice and left my home in clean condition. On completion of the second repair, I received a bill of $390! I was speechless and just wrote out a check. I wrestled for a couple of weeks with whether or not to call just to communicate my thoughts. I decided to write it off and never make the same mistake again. Shortly after the repair, the second toilet was giving me some problem. I called Boevaag and Jeff came out, at no charge. He found a piece of plastic in the new part that he thought was the culprit. A few weeks later the same issue presented. On December 5, 2024, I called Boevaag and told them the issue had not been resolved. Joe said he would get back to me. I called again on December 13, 2024 because I had not heard from Joe, left a message and Joe texted back, "Yes, you are on our list. With this cold weather we have been backed way up." With Christmas and the new year coming up, I chose to wait to hear back. Today is January 6, 2025. As I have not heard back, I called and talked to Joe. Joe assumed Jeff had followed up and resolved the issue. As that is not the case, I offered to accept a $150 refund and I would hire someone else to fix the problem. Joe said he would talk with Jeff to get the problem fixed and he hung up. I know plumbing repair is expensive and I may be wrong, but I feel, as an older single woman, I was taken advantage of. Joe has no customer service etiquette. He is rude and condescending. NO....I would definitely not recommend Boevaag Plumbing.

I contacted five plumbers asking for the estimated cost of replacing two bathroom faucets. Most companies responded by asking me to call them or by charging a fee to provide an estimate in person. Both practices gave the impression the companies were more interested in a sales pitch than quoting a fare market value for the project. BouVaag was the only plumbing company to respond to the initial inquiry with a cost estimate. Their plumber arrived during the scheduled time window, completed the project in a timely manner, and charged within the quoted estimate. An electronic invoice was sent a week later. Prepare to pay with a check as the company charges a fee for processing debit/card payments.

For bid, came on time.

Did all the work as described. Shortly after, the ceilings and walls collapsed in the laundry room. Found a leaking toilet. When emergency insurance folks came and plumber arrived, turned out he had installed the wrong flange on the upstairs toilet which flooded the house. Also cracked another toilet base. No response from their insurance company and stuck me with a $1500 deductible for water damage

We were very happy with everything, and plan to call Boevaag the next time we need plumbing work done.

Shaun and Steve from Boevaag Plumbing called/texted to let me know that they were running ahead of schedule. This worked out great and they were able to start about an hour before the estimated starting time. On an outside spigot that was leaking Shaun showed me how one nut just needed tightening. Leak gone. I had a valve that ran to the kitchen refrigerator. I assume this valve was likely added by the previous homeowner, as it was unfortunately placed after the shutoff valve for one of the outside spigots (so when I shut it off for the winter, no water to the fridge). I had them move the refrigerator valve (they put in a new one) before the outside shutoff valve. A shutoff valve for another outside spigot wouldn't fully shut off. They replaced both of the shutoff valves with much better handle valves (rather than the knob valves that were there). The pipes to the water softener needed to be tweaked to line up with the new softener. They did that, hooked up the new softener, ran it though all of its cycles and showed me how to use it. Shaun also gave me advice on maintaining the unit. The main waste pipe had a joint that had failed, Steve and Shaun replaced the necessary pieces and everything looks nice and sealed once again. The guys took a little under three hours to get my long list of items accomplished. They were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt the price charged was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Boevaag Plumbing and will most certainly use them again.

Work completed but a few challenges. I made a point to ask him to be careful with the handles and not to damage them. Some small damage to the cold water handle and a fitting on both the hot and cold. The worst part is he must of used our bathroom face towel that was on the towel rack because after he left the face towel was destroyed he left 8 holes in the face towel.

On-time arrival, good communication from plumber, service performed quickly and well. Happy with the repair and the service. Will use Boevaag again for plumbing needs.

Whether it's fixing a leak, replacing a water heater or something in between... they're prompt and always fair with pricing. Definitely our top choice for a plumber!

I left a message the day before because a kitchen sink had no water. They called at 8:00 am and gave me hints to get the water flowing. Fans and heat. At 1:00 pm the room was flooding. I shut off the water to the house. I called and the plumber. They arrived at 3:30. The pipes were repaired by 5:00. Great service. I will call them whenever I need a plumber.

Rubin was prompt, professional and friendly. He was efficient with his time and explained everything to me that needed to be fixed. I will definitely call Boevaag Plumbing again when the need arises.

When redoing our floors, our refrigerator started leaking. I called first thing in the morning and Boevaag fit us in! They were prompt, provided excellent service, and were well-priced.

I needed a water softener bypass valve replaced because it was cracked and spraying high-pressure water into the wall. Of course, this happened late Sunday evening. The person I spoke with at Boevaag that evening give me a couple of ideas to get through the night. (I decided to just turn off the house water, and we made do.) The next day, they came when they promised, were cheerful, professional, explanatory, and quick.
