"We spent all summer talking with siding contractors. All of them disappointed us for various reasons (costs, games, delays). We finally contacted Lakewoods Remodeling, and we are very glad we did. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they did not play games. They started when they said they would start. They finished when they said they would finish. They used high quality materials. They did high quality work. They showed concern for making everything look good (and it does). To summarize, the value they provided was excellent. "First Dave took days to respond, then roofing was delivered to the neighbors. Roofing was delayed, and i was notified the first day. The 2nd day i heard nothing from Steve and had to call to find out. I was told the driveway would be covered with tarps and magnets would be used to pick up nails. This wasn't done and i had to pick up 100's of nails myself from driveway and all around the house and neighbors house. Front and back steps weren't covered with tarps while roofing, so one had oil stains, the other brand new composite steps had gouges, tar stains, and a broken light. Corner piece of my siding had a hole put in it. My birdbath was also broken. Roofers left garbage all over the place. A few nails and little pieces of roofing were left on the roof after they were done. The office called before the job was completed to get final papers signed, i had to tell them they aren't done yet. Long delays and poor communication, a roofing job with soffit and fascia took about a month total. Corner siding piece was finally replaced, and a couple hundred dollars was taken off the price for the broken items."

He worked seamlessly with the insurance company and was able to get us what we needed for our home and more. His crew did excellent work on both the roof and siding. They have performed siding roofing and window work at my house, my parents, grandparents and even some friends' houses. "Capital Roofing, Siding & Windows provided excellent service in all respects. Jeff and his team were very polite and professional and never "pushed" anything we didn't want or need. They came out several times to assess damage and come up with a plan to best match the siding repairs (since my insurance company would not cover a complete house siding replacement). Together we picked the best plan to mix and match existing siding so it would not and does not look like a mix and match. They also worked closely with my insurance company to get some additional items covered that the insurance adjuster had missed. When it came time to replace the roof, their crew was in and out in several days (unlike many neighbors who had crews that took weeks to complete even smaller, simpler roofs). After the roof was done, their crew arrived right on time and had the siding done within several days too. I chose to do some of the minor work myself and they had no problem doing that. And Jeff gave us credit for that so we saved a little money in the process. All in all, was a very good experience and great looking end products. Definitely would hire them again. Plus I like the idea of using a family owned business...I think that sets them apart from the competition. Thanks Jeff!"

"Anthony was on top of the entire project and kept us informed of the entire process. Anthony called ahead to inform us when the dumpster and materials would be delivered a couple of days before the job was supposed to start and when his crew found that the decking on my house needed to be replaced, Anthony contacted our insurance company and got it replaced without any extra work on our part. Anthony's crew replaced the entire roof and four skylights in less than two days. Anthony even came to our house on three separate occasions to run a magnet over our landscape to make sure there were no nails or material left behind that could cause a problem down the road. Would gladly recommend Anthony to all our friends."

"The work was good, and clean-up was fine. Bad (rainy) weather hampered the start of the project - not their fault. The crew was 2 brothers that always started later in the morning (because "they were coming from up by St. Cloud down to Mpls"). Overall, the finished project is great. Just small nits on communication."

"Rick's Roofing & Siding reroofed and resided our home after damage from a hailstorm. They had previously reroofed our home about 15 years earlier and had done excellent work, so we contacted them for this project. Again, they did excellent work. Literally more than a dozen neighbors have told us how good our home looks. One even said it was stunning. Every person that we worked with from Rick's, their rep, construction crew, inspector, and office personnel were very good to work with and did their jobs well. An example, our neighborhood had many homes damaged by the hailstorm. Talking with our rep from Rick's on a sunny day outside our home, he told me that they only use the same lot of shingles when they roof. He said others will just take what they can get in situations like this where many homes are damaged and the demand for the shingles is high. He pointed out a house across the street from us and said that their roofer had mixed lots. I couldn't see what he saw, he told me over time it would show. All it took was for it to show was for it to rain, when the neighbor's roof is wet, I can see the distinct line patterns on their roof where the shingles are different. I waited for some time to pass before I wrote a review to see if any issues would show; everything looks great, and we've experienced no issues."
