"We've used Urban Services three times. Matt responds quickly, is reliable, honest and personable, and does great work. He has cleaned the gutters and windows on two homes for us and was a pleasure to deal with. In one case, on his own, he adjusted his quoted price downward to account for the fact that the gutters were much cleaner than expected. Highly recommended."

"Steve is a true professional when it comes to cleaning windows & screens.  He is experienced and process oriented, not to mention very friendly with great customer service.  We've hired other window companies in the past, but will stick with this company going forward."

"The 2-person crew that came out did a wonderful job explaining what was to be done and how. They set up and "soft-washed" our vinyl sided house and garage. We had some algae staining prior tot he wash, but that all was cleaned off. Mike, our service provider, did an awesome job. He even came back to clean a small area that I discovered had been missed. Great experience with this company!"

"My yard was full of weeds and dandelions and my neighbors was not. I decided to ask what they were using to keep their lawn green and free of weeds and they recommended elite lawn care. I am very impressed with the quality of service I received I plan on using them for now on and I would highly recommend them.

"

John was great to work with.  He answered my original email the same day with an estimate saying he would be happy to do the work.  The next day we set an appointment for the following day first thing in the morning.  He was here right on time and the work was done in an hour.  He was pleasant and friendly and we will see him in the spring to do all our windows.  I would highly recommend John Roth Window Cleaning Services.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.
