"I wish I could give Innovative Basement Authority a negative rating. Run away from this company as fast as you can. Beware- they are changing their name to Ground Works. Probably because of all the negative reviews. We paid a substantial amount of money to install one of their basement systems after having water problems. The initial sales guy was a very high-pressure seller, trying to get us to sign a contract the same day he came out. Fast forward a year. They told us they needed to come out for an inspection. The sales guy ?found? $40,000 work of additional work that was ?urgent?. He used scare-tactics and tried to convince us we needed to sign on the dotted line immediately. Because of course mold is going to make my family sick. It seemed sketchy to me, but I was able to get the guy to leave without us signing that day. I immediately called our trusted home inspector, and he said the sales guy was trying to sell us things we did not need. He also said he had talked to others"

"I researched basement waterproofing solutions and was considering doing it myself. Then I found Safe Basements and read the literature about their product/process. To me, it seemed better than other similar products. I was surprised that they cover my place -- 2 hours into Wisconsin, or 3 hours from Litchfield. Brad came out to inspect the problems in my basement -- horizontal cracking, bowing, and water intrusion. He was able to explain the causes of those problems as well as others that I hadn't noticed. We agreed to pay for anchors to stabilize one wall that was bowing, and install drain tile and a sump pump. I'll be honest, I didn't shop around. I have no idea what other companies are charging for the same services. I normally get 3 or 4 bids or other opinions. I felt comfortable with the amount of research that I'd done, the knowledge Brad seemed to have, and the information about the products that I decided to hire Safe Basements without talking to other companies. I don't regret that decision. The wall anchor/stabilization crew called me before leaving Litchfield. Their ETA was pretty close to the actual time of arrival. When they arrived, we discussed the work being done. They did the work. They cleaned up. They gave me information about the anchor system and what I needed to do to correct the bowing and cracks. Everything was done as expected. The drain tile/sump crew was stuck at a previous job. They called me the day before (Tuesday) my job was expected to start to let me know there would be a delay starting my job. He then called in the middle of the start day (Wednesday) to let me know, they wouldn't be to my house until the next day. I was expecting a call between 7 and 8 on Thursday to let me know they were leaving Litchfield. Instead, I got a call at about 7:15 to let me know they were 15 minutes from my house. When they arrived, we talked about the work to be done, they cocooned my stuff in plastic, and they went to work. I think they worked until about 7 that day. They returned on Friday at about 8:30, having stopped to dump my concrete and dirt and to pick up gravel and concrete. They worked until about 10:30pm on Friday. I appreciated that they finished on Friday even though it was later than I expected. They cleaned up everything thoroughly, and walked me through the details of the sump pump and battery backup systems. Even though they'd driven a long distance, worked two very long days, and it was very late Friday, I didn't feel they rushed through. The job was complete. I think they would have stayed later if I'd had anymore questions. Unfortunately, one of the workers left his very nice tape measure, and I have not been able to get it back to him."

"Ever since we moved into our newly built home 8 or so years ago, we needed help with the original installation of sod, the fence for our dogs, the automated sprinkler system, etc. Accelerated Green Works (AGW) has always been the team we’ve trusted for all of this work. Usually, I do my own snow shoveling, but, periodically when I’m out of town, a blizzard pops up and my wife needs to teach elementary school in the morning. The latest episode of snow storms this past week occurred while I was out of town. I arranged with AGW to plow / shovel early in the morning for my wife to get out, but school was promptly cancelled. Therefore, I scheduled AGW to shovel later that night once the snow / wind stopped and my wife would need to get out to drive me home from the airport. The AGW team worked with me every step of the way to get the job done right. I’m sure they can’t always schedule these jobs as perfectly as they did for me that day/night, but they definitely did a fantastic job coordinating with me and accommodating my every need. Excellent work. The scheduling was perfect. The plowing / shoveling of my driveway and sidewalks was professionally done with good communication with me to ensure we were both on the same page. "Technician was prompt and professional. He simply straightened the cable to the sensors and the door worked. He then stapled the cable to the frame to keep it out of the way of the door opening. He sprayed the rollers and hinges with a lubricant. The charge for this service which took under half an hour was $100.00. There were no parts to replace or repair so I think the bill was really excessive. I would think twice about calling them again. (Note: I purchased the garage door from them 3 years ago)."

"Good for small jobs (replacing faucet), but apparently not for larger jobs. Contractors obviously were not skilled at what they were doing and caused more long-term damage. Also cheap materials were used despite request to use quality materials. Looked terrible in short time. Very displeased. Will not use again."
