"Two men showed up for the quote, one an apprentice, and I showed them the electrical box to the home we had just purchased. The home inspector had previously just recommended removing a double tap installed in our electrical box, but otherwise gave it a clean bill of health. When showing the box to Randy's, they were concerned that the previous homeowners had performed their own wiring, and wouldn't touch the double tap unless charging to re-make the whole electrical box. I have no doubt that they were qualified to perform the work, however the prices and work they felt necessary was exorbitant. The $59 trip charge was not worth the hassle."
