I chose Clark on the basis of the detail estimate provided by Josh Clark and his willingness and ability to answer my numerous questions. I was impressed with the work effort and friendly, customer-oriented attitudes of Adam, Dylan and the rest of the Clark installation crew. They were creative in adjusting the wall designs to best fit the terrain, and to listening and adapting to my ideas. Most importantly, I was very happy with the end results. "In Spring 2012, we obtained quotes from three companies to tear out two existing retaining walls along the driveway and re-build them using Versalok, excavate and grade the backyard, and build a 3.5 - 4 foot retaining wall in the backyard using the stone from the old retaining walls. Genadek had the middle quote; they were also the only company to follow up with a phone call. The whole job took about 4 1/2 weeks. Stan, Mike, Tim,  Rob and Andrew were very professional and friendly; our neighbors even raved about them. They cleaned up the job site at the end of each day and communicated frequently so there were no surprises.
My only recommendation to those interested in hiring Genadek is to get on their schedule early. Their calendar books up fast!

"Estimator came and described the fence options.  Competitive pricing for privacy fence.  Contractors completed work per schedule.  After fence was put up cracks appeared in multiple locations and bowing of fence walls created gaps in this new privacy fence. 
Owner came over and observed situation in a few days after contact for these issues, said $100 extra for labor to remove bowed fence walls that were creating gaps.  Not sure why they include this option up front or they could have let me know they were giving me a cheaper option up front (not sure why they would even offer) and then let me know this would have been needed anyways for true quality privacy.  Repair work was done promptly.  IMO its a good price, quality experience was a bit meh, but they give 5yr warranty on parts/workmanship so they'll come back and fix it up in a prompt manner either way.

"Due to a family emergency, my husband and I decided to sell our house this year. We asked Justin to come over and walk through the house with us and give his opinion on things that should be done before putting it up for sale. He gave us a reasonable quote, and let us decide what we wanted him to do, and what we thought we could tackle ourselves. He knew our goal, and wanted to make sure we got what we wanted and were satisfied. Justin and his crew painted the main living areas of the inside of the house (walls and ceiling), remodeled the main floor bathroom, fixed and repainted some siding around the house, and poured a cement apron and re-sealed the driveway. He was always in contact with us on the progress of the projects (as we had already moved out). If we had questions or concerns, he would respond quickly. As many times as we contacted him, he was always very nice and professional."

"It's nice to work with a company that does good work at a fair price, No surprises.   They worked with us to design and install a boulder wall and planting layout.  We made a few changes along the way and they were easy going about the changes.  They showed up when they said they would and worked with us to make small tweaks to boulder placement.   It was a good experience all around.  There quote was good and the service was great.  I'm not sure how it could have gone any better.

"The technician arrived late, but there was road construction everywhere and traffic was at a dead stop, so I can't blame him, and it wasn't a big deal. The tech. seemed knowledgeable and recommended replacing 4 sprinkler heads and digging out and raising two. I knew that I had at least one head that probably needed to be replaced and was not too surprised that others needed to be replaced after the winter and the snowplows going over them, which is why I purchased the tune-up special at $69. Since the company that installed my system charges $100 just to come out, this was a good deal for me. The technician seemed thorough and I would use this company again.

"They did a super job. Driveway looks excellent with the new crushed granite. I was having run off issues on 2 sides of my house. After being leveled that problem is gone. Landscape rock next to retaining wall gives a nice facelift.
