Everyone was so polite, knowledgable and hard workers!
A real pleasure to have at our home.
It was a difficult job because most of the plantings they removed were overgrown.
It was jungle.
The end result was just beautiful.
Josh was very helpful and did not mind when I changed things around la bit.
They even made time to mulch another area for me.
I would highly recommend them!
I hope to have them back next year to work on another area on the yard.
The majority of the plants looked very poor and weak at the time that they were planted, and I have already resigned myself to the fact that we will have to replace at least 6 of the shrubs next spring. We raised concerns to Dakota and we were told to water them heavily and that they will be fine. We have treated these in the same way that we have all other newly landscaped areas of our property, and this is the only area that appears to be destined to be replaced.
I sent an unhappy email to the landscaper indicating my displeasure with the poor looking condition of the 6 shrubs and several of the smaller plants on the very first day. We shared some unpleasant correspondence and I explained I was angry because this 'planting' had cost me $350 and I did not like the results. The only result of our email "conversations" was that he directed me to a web site on how to get my soil tested. He stated that that was likely a part of the problem. The hostas that were planted are doing just fine however.
I certainly do not feel I got anything near my $350 dollars worth of either plants, service or customer service.
"Hi [member name removed], this is the first time I have heard from you as I was initially talking to [member name removed], not sure how he is related to you. Anyway I did send him a detailed plan twice as to where the plants would be going. He lost the first one so I sent over another. The plan was ok'd by him and I did show up to install the plants on the day we discussed. I did knock and ring the door bell because I did have questions for you or someone and wanted to give you care instructions. However no one came to the door but I do remember the lights on in the house. I did put the plants in as shown on the plan so if the placement was an issue the plan should not have been ok'd. I am sorry your plants did not work out for you. I feel as though they were not watered because you have DEEP, THICK, ORGANIC BLACK soil and [member name removed] called within a few days to tell me they did not look good. That is really the only way they could look so bad in such a short amount of time. I did mention that the soil could be an issue so I sent over a link to the U of M like [member name removed] had requested so he could have the soil tested. Could you please tell me how that test came back? Again thank you for your business!"
