NONE of the (3) companies responded at all when I listed in the HomeAdvisor app and Joe was the only (1) of (2) companies that responded when I listed in the Angi app and Joe came out the next business day to our house. I really did not even care that much about getting any quotes, I just wanted to get a handyman hired and to get the tasks done ASAP. To only have (1) out of (5) companies even bother to respond is pretty disappointing."

Hello, I am Sam the Handy Man, I am a Licensed Building Contractor in the State of Minnesota and fully insured up to a million dollars per state requirements.\n\nI started this as a handyman business and quickly moved up into larger jobs and now focus mostly on remodels basements bathrooms interior remodels but I can handle anything exterior and exterior on residential homes. \nBeing licensed allows me to hire subcontractors for plumbing and electrical if needed. But I can work on existing electrical and existing plumbing. \nI try to work 5 to 6 days a week, I offer free quotes. My typical hours run between 8 and 9, to 3 to 4. For most jobs I charge by the hour, material costs are on the client, and I have a general contract everybody signs.

"At the risk of having Mick be unavailable to me because he's so good, I was very happy with his clean habits, his efficient use of time, and cordial personality. He caulked bath tub and wash basin, primed and painted several windows and the walls of a room, repaired a broken hearth tile, installed sliding door pulls, and cleaned bathroom sink traps. He always asked permission to buy anything extra and gave a detailed invoice with the receipts of purchases at the end of his service. My husband and I have set another date for more services. Update: I love looking at all the improvements around here! Mick came a second time and power washed the mold off our chimney and siding and blasted the mold out of the carpet on the steps. He also caulked the outside of all our windows, two stories. He eliminated the gunk with tree seeds trying to find a home in all the gutters. This guy is a gem!"
