In the firebox completely removed fire brick from back and both side walls. completely removed clay flue and replaced with insulated stainless steel. This included adding a lever operated lock top damper and stainless-steel exterior flue cap. Much time was spent adding chamber tech 2000 parge coating to the smoke chamber. Kevon and his two workers were excellent. All details on steps being taken were clearly explained. All carpeting was protected from the front door to the work area in the family room. All debris was removed from the job site. This was a big job that took two days to complete. Am following the recommended wait time and break in steps to be taken. "They waterproofed our basement several years ago. They included a lifetime warranty (not my lifetime, but the lifetime of the structure.) We've had subsequent leaking and getting them to revisit has been a nightmare. They don't return calls, they arrive 3 hours late to an appointment and then when they determined the work needed fell within the warranty, they never called to schedule the follow up appointment. When we called, they booked us for 2/8/2019 between 9am-10am. When they didn't show by 11am, we called. They said that because we don't have a cell phone, they couldn't reach us. (We only provided them a home phone number) and that our appointment was cancelled because of an emergency yesterday. They do not care about our business because we have already paid them over $5,000 and they refuse to follow through with their guarantee."
