Terrible experience spent so much money with a guaranteed warranty for accepted job only to find he wasn't so nice and polite once I pointed out issues with incoming water issues remain the same, as if no work had been done. His own worker told me alone in private "I told him more should have been done." Joseph Safie aka Joey Safie works under Licensed Number 2102196780, which is SAS Services, Inc. - Don't let him scream at you when you have a warranty problem or bully you telling you that you have the wrong company, review the license on contract. The company is licensed under SAS Services, Inc - check out reviews under that name. Joey refused to honor his promise on workmanship or warranty, and only offered to charge me thousands more with no proof of drainage connection on work performed. Zero Integrity and Honor of Workmanship. Don't endure the drama of his Jekyl and Hyde persona of this contractor that works under licensed name SAS Services, Inc. (look up reviews there before anything else).

From the moment Joe picked up my call the plan was formed. Fast turnaround on site visit for estimate. Very fair pricing. Lead time was long, but that's the state of things now. When time came to execute project, there were no delays. His office organized permits and inspections. His crews were courteous, hard working and left the interior job site in a broom-swept / shop-vac'd at the end of each work day. The exterior driveway was hosed down and scrubbed from all debris. Drainage system installation was done very nicely, using all proper fittings, cleanouts and flashings. The new concrete pour was feathered into the existing concrete slab very nicely. I likely won't buy a post-war bungalow missing a sump system again, but if I do, WaterBGone will be doing the installation.

Joe and his guys did a great job. Hire them.

Recently I bought a second home in Michigan and after a big rain there was water on the bathroom floor in the basement. My primary home is in Pennsylvania and I had no idea who to call to help me with this issue. I looked to Angie’s List and the company “Water Be Gone” came up as highly recommended to do this type of work. It was a Sunday morning and I called the number expecting to go into voice mail, but the phone rang a couple of times and Joe answered my call. In just couple of days, Joe was at my house to evaluate the problem and offer me some solutions. He did not try to sell me expensive system, but explained to me in detail what needed to be done. He wrote an estimate that was very reasonable. Since the window seal in my basement had a crack in it, Joe said lets fix that first and see if that solves the problem. He said, “I don’t want to cut the paneling off your bathroom wall, if the issue is just the window seal.” He also told me, “if this repair doesn’t fix the problem then call me again and we will come out again and fix it.” Joe told me multiple times, I don’t want to charge you a bunch of money for a repair if we can do it the most inexpensive way. When the next big rain came, unfortunately the water was still coming in. I called Joe and he answered the phone right away and within a few days he came out and pulled the paneling down in the bathroom and fixed two cracks in the basement wall. After the repair, he left the space clean and neat. During this time, Joe always answer his phone, and he also answered all my texts promptly. Joe’s repairman that he sent called before he came to my house and arrived promptly at the schedule time. Joe provides a life-time warranty on all of his repairs, meaning if it starts leaking again then he will repair if for free. I called other companies in the area to get some estimates for this issue and I all I could get was voicemails and they would not come to my house to even give me an estimate for at least 2-3 weeks. Joe and his crew are professional, honest, and very efficient. My repair on my basement wall has been fixed and my basement is once again dry. All of these repairs were done for just a few hundred dollars instead of thousands of dollars. If I should have any other issues with water in my basement, I will call Joe. Joe at WaterBGone is truly excellent at what he does. Joe helped us to feel informed and confident when buying our home (he came out to evaluate the foundation of our home before we purchased). Job went as planned, everything turned out as promised, and all debris cleaned up. We had heavy rains recently which served to prove the workmanship - previously affected area is bone dry!

Joe is extremely knowledgeable and honest which is why he has been the ONLY contractor I use for these types of repairs. I've used Water B Gone on my personal home as well as investment properties and as a General Contractor, I refer them to all my clients that require these types of repairs.

Joe was great to work with, crew was very professional. The scope of work included installing an interior drain system under the concrete in the basement as well as installing vertical steel i-beams on the walls to prevent further bowing. Would work with again.

The individual who stopped by to check the crawlspace out was very knowledgeable and honest. we determined in my case, encapsulating may not fix the issue as he suggested some fallen insulation could be the culprit. Going to try to tackle that myself this weekend. Good to know there are people out there more interested in solving problems than selling you something you don’t really need.

After a large number of widely different quotes ranging in technology and price by tens of thousands of dollars, I had hired a structural engineer, Rick Hamman from Sheppard Engineering, to produce specs to address lateral movement in the walls of my basement that had resulted in cracks (no water) in my poured concrete foundation. Joe won my bid, and he performed all the work to spec, pulled appropriate city permits, was responsive to many phone calls, had a great crew, and worked within my needs as I prepared to list my house for sale. Joe is probably the most honest and fair contractor I've ever worked with. He wanted the job to be done exactly to the detailed engineering report, so he hired my engineer out of his own pocket to come in and walk him through the report leading up to the work; Rick was excellent but not cheap (worth every penny). Every job always has issues, and Joe was up front and fair in dealing with them, which is how I really judge a contractor/service. I can't recommend Joe's WaterBGone enough, I've already recommended him to friends and perhaps the highest praise, my realtor has referred him to clients and colleagues.

Joe came out and gave a quote with no pressure to sign, very forthright and informative. His crew arrived on the scheduled day and performed with professionalism explaining the process every step of the way. Pictures were taken documenting the work and provided to me at the end of the day.
