The B-Dry® System Wet Basement Waterproofing Process has been used in homes nationwide for over 50 years. Installed in over 300,000 homes and growing, it has been tried and tested in alleviating wet basement problems caused by a number of reasons. In 1986, it was even awarded a patent from the United States Government. Our basement waterproofing systems are warranted and designed to protect your home from problems caused by a high water table, heavy wet soil, cracks or seams in the floor and wall seepage. I have looked into these issues, in doing so I have found that some of these issues did in fact happen and have been resolved. In addition to being resolved you were also compensated with a credit to your final balance due for your troubles. Unfortunately, once these things of this nature do occur, all we can do is try and make it right by correcting the issue, which in your case we did. Prior to any repair we make every customer is given the opportunity to apply for financing. There are many steps to the financing process if you are approved. Also, PRIOR to any repair we make we have a written agreement with our clients that outlines the scope of work, cost of repair, and how payment is to be made upon completion of the repair. This agreement is then signed by our client(you) and by our consultant prior to any work commencing. The time to discuss and apply for financing is before this agreement is made. In your case, our agreement was to pay in full upon completion of the work. You brought to our attention that you would like financing after the agreement was made, signed, all the work was installed, and it was time to pay the final balance. Unfortunately, this is not how our financing program procedures work due to the process of getting you approved. Once again, I am sorry for your experience. We have tried our best to remedy your situation by correcting the issues, compensating you, and explaining how our financing program works. The crew that came out to perform the job were great. They were friendly and courteous. The work is pretty dirty, and they did a good job of minimizing the mess. The job took 3 days, which was pretty quick given the amount of work involved. They had to remove the concrete around the perimeter of the basement, install the drain system, and also dig and install a new sump pump.
The system has been in place for 2 weeks now, and we just had a weekend of very heavy rain to the point where there is some flooding in my neighborhood. My basement has stayed completely dry, where before I'd start to see signs of water a few hours after a rainfall. I'm very satisfied with the system B-Dry installed and I'm confident that my basement will remain dry.

I'm sorry that you feel you were promised a 10% discount and didn't receive it or "even close to it" as you say. When we provide an estimate to a client we provide our best price the first time. We only have two exceptions to this. We offer a senior citizen discount and we have one coupon available for Angie's List members only, for 10% off. With the Angie's List coupons there is certain criteria that needs to be met for the discount to apply. This criteria is found on the coupon itself. One of these items is, the coupon must be presented at the time of the original estimate. You did not provide us with the coupon. Several weeks after the estimate you contacted us inquiring about the coupon, we explained to you that the coupon could no longer be used, however, we still provided you a 5% discount. We appreciate your business and your feedback. Once again, I am happy you were satisfied with our quality of work and I am sorry you we not pleased with the discount given.
