"Ron arrived on time. Installed gutter guards, installed a door in rear of garage, and took care of some posts on front porch. Also went out of his way to help me remove a screen door, so the refrigerator that was being delivered would fit through door. He and his crew did a great job, cleaned up nicely. Will definitely use Malosh services again."

Small jobs welcome

"We had several small projects including replacing sceens in doors and windows, caulking bathroom shower, kitchen and laundry room countertops, removing and caulking perimeter of two bathrooms and around toilet bowl, securing loose shutters, caulking around porch pillars, cleaning and securing gutter, and staining and refinishing workbench. We were pleased with the work and the price and the punctuality. Jon is very accommodating and easy to work with. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others."

"Had some difficulty connecting initially because the answering machine wasn't working, so I used the e-mail on Angie's list to explain that situation and why I wanted to talk directly to someone.  The response was above and beyond what I would expect.  Turns out there was some problem with their phone provider and my reporting this in my e-mail was greatly appreciated and let to it being corrected.  Though I was told in the e-mail I did not have to be home for the inspection, I explained that some dry wall in the garage had fallen, and I wanted to make sure there was no active leak before repairing the drywall.  We had a previous leak repaired.  I was told that if I could not be home when the inspector was going to be in my neighborhood, she would arrange a special time since I did need to be home.  I thought that was exceptional.  Turns out I was able to be home after all.
After the inspection, i was told that there is no leak from the roof at this time, and, in fact, the roof is in good condition.
He did indicate the Big Deal called for a single story roof, and I have two, but he said he would do it anyway.  At first this sounded really good, but I was left wondering if the inspection was quite as thorough as if I didn't have two levels.  I am only saying this because another contractor who was out for something else afterwards, did point out a couple of areas that might need caulking or minor repairs.  Since I am not a contractor, I cannot say what is correct.  I did feel that the inspection was rather quick for the size of our roof.  So, since nothing was recommended to do, I can't really appropriately rate the workmanship.  I can only say that the willingness of this company to work around my schedule was a positive sign about their relationship with their customers.

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

Using a pro guarantees correct tools and expertise, preventing potential household mishaps.

To install or move washer and dryer hookups, you will likely need a combination of professionals. A plumber can handle the water supply lines and drain pipes. If you have a gas dryer, a plumber certified for gas lines or an HVAC specialist will be needed to run the gas line. An electrician is required to install the correct electrical outlets. For simpler jobs, a local handyperson may suffice, while a contractor might be needed for tasks like drywall repair for the new vents.

Absolutely, they tailor their approach to address individual requirements, ensuring satisfaction on every visit.

A handyperson is the professional term used to describe professional fixers who can tackle a wide range of general home repairs. Some pros may prefer to use the term handyworker, handyman, or handywoman, so we recommend politely asking your pro how they would like you to identify them during the project.

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.
