"TLDR: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I'm out $12k and have to pay another company to replace the floors Four Seasons destroyed. When I first met with Rob he came to the house I had just purchased and was very confident as he made his way around my house looking at my floors. He explained the type of wood floors the house had and made sure to give me a timeline for how long the job would take. He concretely stated it would take 3 days to complete the work. His confidence gave me confidence that he would do a great job. After receiving the quote for roughly $12,000, we pulled the trigger and hired Four Seasons. We scheduled the work to be done before we moved into the house with the 3-day window Rob stated would take the crew to complete the job. When the crew showed up, they laughed in my face when I told them we were moving in. They said the job would take a week at minimum to complete. I didn't have an option to bump back my move in date as I was moving from across the state and had to move out of our old house. Rob came through and said they will have to do 1 floor first then the other and we'll have to move our furniture around to accommodate. I was annoyed but, it was getting done so, whatever. Once they got our dining room/den sanded down, it was explained to me that the floors were engineered hardwood and they sanded through to the plywood in a few spots. Oops! Rob said "no big deal. We can come back later and replace those few boards." They also never finished reinstalling the shoe molding through roughly 50% of the house. He claimed he would come back "in a couple of weeks to get it finished up." So, I had him come back to replace the boards in the floor and look at the molding in which he said "no, you can't really do that" and said we should just replace the whole floor in that room for "about $4500 to $5000". Understandably, I was p***** but what could I do? Fast forward 6 months and we're in the middle of summer and humidity. With the increase in humidity the parquet floor in the family room buckled in 2 different directions. This floor has been in the house since 1962 and has never buckled. However, when he refinished the floor he said it was "loose and needed tightening." to which he then tightened and glued the ends so it would stay tight. He claimed to have "fixed" the floor. Now it's so tight that it doesn't allow for expansion and contraction. I messaged Rob about this to which he got an attitude and said that it had nothing to do with his work and it was a moisture problem I needed to solve. I let him know this has never happened in the past and he said they I should just contact a different professional. I've had 3 different floor companies all come out and take one look at the floor, shake their head and then apologize for laughing. Every company has let me know how I got screwed in the deal and they the sanding of the engineered wood should never have happened and the "tightening" of the parquet is what ruined the floor. To say that I'm disappointed is the understatement the year. I spent $12k on "refinished" floors that now just have to be completely replaced because Four Seasons came through and essentially destroyed them."

"I'm highly disappointed with world of floors. They sell you on quality and workmanship warranty. Sales man told us we get a 20 year workmanship warranty. That there installers do great work and would take care of any sub floor out of level over 1/8 of an inch. They did not which caused some of the flooring to come apart. Also we paid extra to get the best floor they sell and also best trim boards they have. Over 10,000.00$ . The trim boards are not even because the never attempted to level floor or even use the proper transitions. We couldn't get them to fix any of our concerns before finish. We had to complain immensely and take it the top. They have been to my house 7 times. We are still not satisfied we couldn't get 20 minutes of workmanship warranty. We have spoke with owner operator Emil. He came out 2x rude inconsiderate. Trying to tell us or you if your dumb enough to use these people. What good workmanship is. I thought the customer should be satisfied. During these 5 extra visits back to fix what there employees messed up. Guy by the name Ross. Bully's customers including woman. Again telling us they are not going to remove any more flooring. Before you can get a word out. Why send the same crew back to my house 7 times. When you can't get it right after 4 you think you would try someone else. We have video of how they dress when boss not around. Coming in with a wife beater and a bad attitude on your 6th visit then telling the customer we are not doing anything to make you happy. Just a total inconvenience of my time. Between my partner and I. We missed 6 days of work. They act like we are inconveniencing them. My last complaint was that corners were so bent and sharp they would cut your feet. From bully Ross pounding the crap out of it. He also spilled his sticky pop all over are floor. We had to clean it. You know the extra pieces they leave for future repairs. They used it all up on there 7 visits. Trying to it get right. Our base boards look like crap in many areas. They took a chunk out of corner and stuck it back on with cualk. I showed them on there 6 th visit Ross says I can put more cualk in it. Are you kidding me that's not a fix or solution. so at this point I asked ross to leave my house. I'll talk to Emil. Well before the dust could settle after I left a message because they never answer the phone when you need quick answer. I specifically asked Emil not to have Ross come back ever again. He will try to intimidate you to get out of work. Then to top off Emil got loud and said he will do the talking. Rude! What about my money ten thousand dollars. And the guy is rolling on my floor with a credit card. Saying it's no higher then other areas. Last area of concern was our hall way. So far from kitchen. Emil says you have all this traffic. Trying to get out of it and just wear you down to you give up. We're not. we turned into the BBB. I'm a aerospace tool inspector. Credit card on the floor from the smooth side. You kidding me and that's your upper management representative? Seriously the last 4 visits were insulting and a big waste if our time. We are so disappointed in the workmanship And final results. But seriously the way we have been treated. With no resolve. Out 10,000$. I would give serious consideration before using this company. Buyers beware! We are taking it to the next level. Stay tuned. "This is the third time we have used Kapalua floors and they have always done an amazing job. This time it was our entire first floor and we love the finished product! Top notch service and quality. Highly recommend."

"I was going to wait until my carpet was in to make this review, but I am so disgusted by the "work" done by Tara and her assistant that I have to hire new painters to fix the mess she started (Thus pushing back my flooring and costing me more money). She was paid roughly $3,700 to do a job that should embarrass any painter, leave my place a mess, tell me I'm wrong, and then didn't even complete the job as it was quoted. The property is located in Bloomfield Hills and she was supposed to do 3 rooms and a small hallway. The good : She did a good job on the ceiling in one room that was textured. Her timing was somewhat punctual (arrived within 30 minutes of when she said she would). The bad : She did not clean up after herself. As I stated the only thing she did well was the ceiling which had to be sanded, but she didn't even bother to vacuum ANY of the dust she left behind. Instead tracking dust throughout my house. I confronted her about this and she looked at me like I was an alien for expecting someone to cleanup after their work. At the very least she could have put down paper. There are paint marks in my kitchen, globs of paint on my subfloors, and running down my walkway and porch which will now have to be repainted, she even found a way to ruin my welcome mat which I had moved to the side. She also got paint on 3 different spots on my fireplace which are proving hard to come out. She did not even know what parts of the house were to be painted (argued with me about trim even though I was charged for it), she missed obvious spots (we're talking middle of the wall paint is two very different colors). I have dealt with many contractors over my life, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. She did not caulk the baseboard trim the first time around, missed some of the trim that was supposed to be painted (then told me I was wrong and later reviewed the bid she put in and apologized). Even after her "realization" that she had to do more trim she did not do all of the areas she was paid to do. Her patch work was also subpar as it cracked 3 times and more cracks are showing up every time I'm back there to clean up her mess. After all of this I confronted her and she spent about 2 hours "touching up" and there are still obvious areas she did not even touch and she did not even honor her quote. The only thing she was concerned with is getting paid and the moment I withheld a fraction of the money until the job was finished she got very aggressive and tried to be assertive telling me what I was asking for was "Never heard in her 40 years of business". Many times throughout the process she would say "So are ya gonna pay me?". This is the first time in my life I have ever left a negative review for a painter, contractor, etc. but I will say if you value your home and want a job done properly do not hire Tara and Speed Pro Painting. I am out roughly $3,700 and will have to spend a couple thousand more fixing her mistakes or negligence I'm not sure what to call it. I do not know if I will have any recourse in small claims court, but I might try depending on how much cleaning up her shoddy work costs me. The reviews for this company are very misleading and unless you have a very simple, small, and defined project I would stay very far away from Speed Pro Painting. I have never felt more disrespected and essentially robbed by someone who does not care about the quality of work they do, their customers, or the customers belongings/residence."
