We are very happy with our finished kitchen remodeling. They did exactly what we asked for, Dale the owner is easy to work with and his team was professional, reliable, competitive pricing, and completed the job within estimated time range. I love the way our kitchen turned out. They recommended excellent contractors for our cabinets and granite. When there were a few minor glitches, they were very responsive and came out right away to fix it. However overall, everything went smoothly. When we need another project we will definitely hire them.

Came in January and had to tell us that there was a thick sheet of ice covering the pipe. They offered to come back and do the clearing free of charge when it warmed up and the ice would be melted. They did that last week as soon as we called them. They did a great job and were very professional and courteous!

High price per hour. Made sure to walk downstairs for every nail to add time to job. Took 25 minute break and was going to charge me for it until I complained. Made me sad they are local. I thought they would be more ethical.

Dale came right out and gave me a quote. Very reasonable so I hired them. Took 2 months before they could start as they were booked up. Which worked out well. They worked fast and quality work was done. I kept adding on thing and he figured out the cost and did the repairs. Cost overall was very reasonable and the work performed was top notch. I recommend them to everyone I know.

The 2014 shed job needed a call back immediately as door was gaping and not closing tightly. They were prompt in their response. Only one coat of paint was applied to the new wood, not adequate in my opinion, but I didn't complain at the time. Now, four years later, the plywood is pulling away from the beams because long staple type fasteners were used rather than wood screws. The second job, done in 2016, was unsatisfactory from the start. The work included installation of new door and installation of brick molding and flashing on leaking door. Painting, patching and caulking of both doors was included in the price. The door that was leaking leaked even worse after being repaired and only one coat of paint was applied over holes; no patching was done. Some areas were left completely unpainted. I called and someone came out to do another repair. He said that more work had been done than was necessary and a simple caulking was done. Leaking problem was solved. He also said that someone would call about fixing the poor paint job, but nobody ever did.

Scott and Chris are the best plumbers we have ever hired. They both came same day we called and they were respectful and very skilled. The price was very fair. We would definitely hire again and recommend them.

So happy to now have Husband for a Day to call when i need anything done!!! Prompt, proffesional, and good at what they do! I had custom made shelves put in a 1930’s locker set and curtain rods hung, doorbell fixed... i do not hesitate to recommend!

Chris and Aaron were incredibly punctual, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Dale the owner was great to work with in getting a very reasonable quote and they fit us in exactly on the day and time we needed them. Kim was great in setting up the appointment. Had to change the date due to the delivery of the new appliances and she accommodated our request without a flinch. HIGHLY recommend this company. for just about any household project. The name of the business says it all and they went above and beyond. Happy wife, happy life.

Very well. The workers were very efficient. As they encountered a couple of issues,, they communicated with us immediately and we came upon resolutions.

Dale responded quickly to my request for an estimate and was on time and very professional. The work was agreed to and two employees showed up exactly when they said they would. They were helpful and made suggestions to save money. I left for work and when I came home it was all done perfectly and everything was cleaner than I left it. Will definitely recommend!!

We were already frequent customers of theirs and used them a lot in the past before requesting their help with a large amount of projects within our Dental Clinic that required a handyman. We mailed a %50 deposit for work, and they didn't even finish half of the work before they became completely unresponsive to emails, phone calls and voicemails. They left us with an uncompleted job an no explanation, and we have never been able to get in tough with them to reschedule the remaining work that we have a signed agreement with them for and already paid for half the work. Huge disappointment and very unprofessional.

3 hours late without a phone call. 3 calls to the office and 1 to the owner. Finally a returned call that informed me installer went to wrong job. They were pulling another crew off another job to get mine done. Once they arrived, professional and courteous and gone within an hour.

I've used Husband For a Day several times and once again they did a great job. The siding and trim on my chimney was in need of replacement due to weather induced rot. I had wanted to replace the wood based materials with composites because of exposure to the elements. Dale came out and gave me a detailed estimate and work was scheduled promptly. This was a difficult job requiring a lot of effort and working in high places because my chimney is not straight or on the side of the house. But both the carpenters and the painter didn't bat an eye. They clambered up on the roof and even up on top of the chimney itself to get the work done and the result looks great! I will be sure to call on Husband For a Day for any future home repairs.

Overall the project went well, took a little longer then anticipated but well worth the wait. House was built in the early 1800's so some obstacles were expected. Both Dale and Doug are great people to work with and would highly recommend.

Overall the project went well. There was one issue where the bathtub and surround we picked out would not fit. A different bathtub was installed without consulting us. Luckily I liked the bathtub, but would of been nice to know before it was installed so I didn't come home and have to wonder why the tub wasn't what was ordered.

The whole experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. Everyone was so nice and helpful throughout the job. Communication at all stages was excellent with detailed estimates and invoices. The job started on time and finished earlier than anticipated, but without sacrificing quality and attention to detail. I was especially impressed by how careful and considerate the crew was. They cleaned up every day so that there was minimal disruption to my home. Every bit of debris was removed from the bathroom and the garage when the job finished. I will not hesitate to call on Husband For A Day for any future home repair/remodeling needs.

This was one of the best experiences we have been through in a long time. The entire staff was wonderful. The workmanship, craftsmanship attention to detail was outstanding. The owner, Dale, was very flexible to work with. The remodel team of Doug and Chris were polite, fun, and on time every day. Communication was easy. I would recommend these folks to anyone!
