"They are professional and thorough, but there is really no wiggle room if you would like something differently done. Choices in booklet are pretty basic, not a lot of options (for flooring types, door style, trim) This company is like the Anderson Windows of basements. (No doubt they spend a lot on advertising; There is a reason they are the top result when searching!) Expect to pay quite a bit more than you planned, but I knew if I chose them it would be done and warrantied for everything. Sometimes you just want to sign and not worry, and I would definitely pick Finished basements plus if you are in that situation and have the budget."

"Dennis Hearth and Home installed a beautiful gas fireplace for us and the masonry work was excellent. We have also used them for all our household maintenance, everything from shingling our roof and fixing leaks to constructing steps and handrails. I would recommend them to everyone. "They were on time, they had to dig a hole in the basement floor and dig a communication with another drain as well. They covered carpet and sealed off the wrk area for dust during the jackhammering. They dug a trench through the front yard for the drain system and put everything back, you can barely tell what happened. Cleaned up, everyone was nice and professional. Very pleased."

"We had work done on two large beds in our backyard. This included design, reshaping and preparing the beds for new planting, as well as installation of a tree and several other plants, and mulch. Ben was very easy to work with and took a lot of time to hear about our needs and design a plan that could address what we wanted. He was really good about the time table, responding to email questions, and carrying out the work as scheduled. He also checked on the work a few weeks after it had been done and advised us that we might be over-watering the plants. Although the price was a little higher than I wanted, I hired Ben and would hire him again because he said that he would guarantee the plants for a year. One of the flowers died and another one is not doing very well, but we are working with Ben on replacement options."
