The Could-Be-Better: Our first interaction with Hedlund was a different pair of their plumbers who came out to provide an estimate on work. We did this because we didn't want any surprises in terms of expense, or the extent of work. The plumbers who came out for the estimate were friendly, but apparently not good at details. Most of the information they provided was wrong, including the fact that 1) our drain lines didn't need re-routing (despite my questioning them on that); and 2) that our water heater is natural gas (in fact, it is LP, but they never asked and never noted it). The only reason we didn't have a couple of nasty surprises on the service day is because I questioned these two items beforehand, so was able to resolve the details over the phone, and they were able to change the water heater order before it was too late. In summary, the work we received from Hedlund was excellent, but the guys who provided an estimate need to work on their attention to detail."
