Majic Window is a premium home improvement company offering only the highest quality of products. Majic offers free estimates 7 days a week and finanicing.

"We had Magic Windows put in a new roof, bathroom remodel and a new flooring in our kitchen as well as our bathroom. Our sales agents Dan & George I give a A+/5stars. They are truly caring people and put their customers first. Last year we had a wind storm that damaged our roof and the rain water was literally pouring into our home. I called Dan and he sent George over who took the time to educate us on proper roofing and the importance of quality roofing and installation. The next week the roofers were at our home installing a new roof so that our home would not sustain more damage. All three crews were meticulous and placed a lot of care in their work. Superior craftsmanship is 2nd to none with this company. I gave them all A+/5 Stars. As far as returning phone calls when I had a question or concern this company can use a little improvement. I give them a B/4 stars. Overall Magic Windows will be our 1st and only phone call for any future home improvement endeavors. We love their work."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

The type of flooring you plan to install will determine if it goes in before or after the cabinets. It's okay to swap the order in many cases. However, hardwood floors, sheet materials, and tile often go down before the cabinets go in. Floating floors like laminate or luxury vinyl planking should go down after the cabinets are in place.

DIY is possible for small areas. Professional services provide deep cleaning and a polished finish for larger spaces.

Yes, your kitchen flooring should extend under your dishwasher. It is essential for creating a level and stable surface for the appliance and preventing moisture from seeping into the subflooring, which is costly to repair. Working with a kitchen contractor will ensure the new flooring accounts for the height of the dishwasher so it sits under the countertop properly without any glaring gaps.

Flooring costs $3,162 on average, but can range between $1,530 and $4,860, depending on the flooring type and room size. New flooring costs an average of $3 to $22 per square foot, including installation. Vinyl plank flooring and carpet fall on the lower end, while stone, tile, and hardwood are among the most expensive flooring materials.

The costs range from $3 to $10 per square foot, depending on the carpet type, labor, and subfloor preparation.
