"We had BOTH vinyl/wood flooring AND carpet laid by Town Center Flooring. The owner of the company really cares about his workers' performance, He only hires top notch installers! Very personable and professional. We had a number of heavy pieces of furniture and appliances to move and they did it as part of the job. "Very professional. Is extremely knowledgeable about all flooring types. We had vinyl plank flooring installed throughout our house with carpeting on our stairs. It is so beautiful!! Him and his crew worked wonders! When they pulled up the flooring we had they discovered a horrible floor beneath. They had to remove hundreds of nails and level the flooring before they could install the new vinyl plank. They were efficient and went above and beyond what I would have received from any other company."

When you install laminate flooring, you have to install spacers (also called expansion gaps) along the edges. This space along the edges gives the flooring the room it needs to naturally expand and contract. When you don't have an expansion gap, you can end up with damaged or warped planks. This will only work if the floor is structurally sound and the only issue you have is the way it looks. The easiest way to do this is to use large area rugs. You can also paint the floor, although that’s a labor-intensive job if you want to go the DIY route.

Door transitions can work with virtually any flooring type; however, different transition strips lend themselves better to specific flooring types. For instance, if you are bridging the gap between a taller floor, like carpet, to a shorter floor, like hardwood, then you will want a transition strip with a slight slope to bridge the height difference. These transition strips are called reducer molding. On the other hand, if you are bridging two floors of the same height, you can use flat transition strips, such as T-strips and seam binders.
