"They sanded my light oak hardwood floors down enough to be able to stain them a darker color. Excellent company. They did a great job and showed up and completed the work on time. Highly recommend."

"We had Epic Floors out to give an estimate for a job we wanted done. They arrived as promised and explained the whole process and provided us with a quote very quickly. After the quote was given we felt very comfortable with their abilities. The installation was set up a week later. Job was completed in one day and it turned out GREAT! I would highly recommend Epic Floors for you next flooring job."

"I hired Refloor to come back and do my basement too. The installation was delayed due to stock shortage but the floors are in and they are beautiful. I hired my own painter to stain the moldings to match the floors. The floors look so much like real wood. Great job!"

"JP came out on time and fully prepared to assess the situation, make measurements and provide an estimate quickly. He was very professional and helped me explore my options. It was a no pressure experience. I needed my wife to weigh in on color so JP came back to our house in the evening to complete the process. Outstanding experience!"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Using too much soap or floor cleaner can leave your laminate floors looking dirty or cloudy after mopping. Only use a teaspoon of soap or cleaning solution in a gallon of water. Additionally, always be sure to sweep or vacuum laminate floors before mopping to ensure you pick up dried grit, hair, and dust that can be harder to catch with a wet mop.

Yes, adding new flooring can add significant value to your home, especially hard floors like wood, tile, vinyl, or laminate. It is one of the quickest ways to make a room look refreshed and new, which is a valuable update for those planning to sell or seeking an interior design change. If you update your flooring close to when you sell, you could see a return on investment (ROI) of up to 70%.

In order to avoid long-lasting waves, indents, or sticking, it’s a good idea to wait at least 24 hours after fresh carpet is laid to put weighty furniture on top of it. However, you can begin walking on your new carpet right after it’s installed, and doing so can actually help it adhere to the floor better.

When considering cork flooring pros and cons, you may have toyed with the idea of getting other types of flooring, including hardwood. But how does it compare in price? Your new cork flooring can cost less than hardwood, depending on the wood type you choose. Cork costs about $5 to $19 per square foot, while hardwood costs $6 to $25 per square foot.

Yes, professional services include leveling and moisture testing before installation.
