It went well, except they did not finish.  I ended up having to finish up the white trim painting, then all the finish paint. In doing so, I noticed that the prep work was not a good as I expected, leaving dents and texture on some of the walls. I needed this room done quickly, as I was starting a new job the following Monday, and of course all my furnishings, etc were removed.

We did as much prep work as possible before the contractor showed up (ie. removing all contents except the bed and dresser, removing the light and electrical plates as well as the ceiling light, so that the painter could start right away.  The painter moved fairly quickly, and worked with me to get the ceiling looking much better.  I am happy with that.  When I asked for another painter to finish the job the next day, I was told he had no one available.  This was disappointing.  We provided all the paint, which cost a little more then I expected.  The owner was very cordial and tried to get another painter but couldn't. Another thing that was not expected was that I wanted the painter to provide two colors on the walls, and was told that they don't do that.  I saw nothing in the advertising that indicated limitations and I expected they would send out the right supplies or equipment to do this work. I was told prior to them coming that they don't usually do that, and that the painter doesn't have a laser level to use to paint a level line around the room.  It didn't matter, since they didn't get to any of that anyway.  However, in the future, I suggest they spell out their limitations so that we may look at other contractors who may be able to handle a little creativity better.

All in all, I am happy with their service, just a little disappointed that they didn't get done.  It wasn't a large room.
