"We had Doug and his crew re-grout cracks in our shower and they were phenomenal. We had Doug come for an estimate and he was very knowledgeable and thorough. He even researched the brand of our old grout that was used (previous owners) so he was familiar with the suite of products and purchased additional products (colorant and sealant) for us to use after they re-grouted. The new grout and caulk look great and he walked us through the application of the additional products and even offered to assist with any questions as we used them. Doug worked with us to make the project cost effective and was in continuos communication with us regarding the project between the time of the estimate until after the project was complete. "I returned from vacation to find toilets not flushing. Contacted Pete Black Plumbing after referral from Lakeside Services. They sent someone within 2 hours. Before any work done, I was given an estimate for $668 for "up to 50' cabling main cleanout." This seemed high based on prices posted on various websites, but I felt I had no choice since it was already Friday mid-afternoon. I have no complaints about the work but, had I known ahead of time what they charge, I would have called a few other places first. Caveat emptor!"

"They did a great job installing a new hot water heater in 2015. In 2021, I noticed water at the base of the tank (possibly a problem with the drain valve). I filled out the online service request form but did not hear back. In the past three weeks, I have called the service line, and cell phone number listed on their profile several times. I was able to leave a message once (approximately two weeks ago). All other times the voice mailboxes have been full. I have not received any response to the online service request form, nor the phone message I left. It is disappointing and frustrating to spend 1k on a hot water heater, but then simply not to be able to reach anyone or get a callback. If the business is shuttered or overwhelmed for any reason, it would be professional and appropriate to post a message to that effect, at the very least."
