"After making a claim for roofing with insurance I contacted Avalon for an estimate, within a day I was contacted by Avalon and an appointment was set. When the Avalon rep arrived, he checked the roof and noted the damage and proceeded to show me the materials that would be used to replace the roof. When I advised my wife wasn’t home he came back two hours later so she could pick the shingle color. I was able to schedule a time for the roof replacement. The crew arrived and striped off the old roof and started to replace. when they were finished the crew cleaned up so well it was hard to tell the roof has been replaced. The contact with Josh D was great and would recommend the company and him especially."

"Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I received an estimate from Zac at Roof Dr. His estimate was so professionally done, so pristine. He detailed everything, right down to using a magnet to pick up roofing nails. Unfortunately, I didn't go with the Roof Dr. only because I found a company to do the work cheaper. Well, that is exactly what I got, cheap, sloppy work from another roofing company. I am a widow of a deceased disabled Vietnam veteran and I know nothing about roofs and flashing. I needed a roof repair, new flashing installed and a cricket built behind chimney and a new boot put on my electrical pole. The other roofing company came when I wasn't home. When I returned in the evening, the job wasn't finished and there was debris from their job flying all around my yard. They left nails and debris on my roof and nails on my driveway. The work they had done was sloppy . I went inside my garage and there was light showing all along the back of my chimney where the cricket was. They had to come back a couple more times to finish the job and to redo the work they had previously done. I called Zac at Roof Dr. and told him what had happened with this other company. I asked Zac if he could come inspect the other companies work before I pay them. Zac was happy to do this for me and for free! He didn't owe me anything, but he did it anyways. Thank goodness I called Zac, because the other company left nails and debris on my roof again. The old and new shingles were not sealed down properly. I am old and can not get up on the roof. It gave me such a sense of security to have someone lookout for me and see how the job was really done. He was my pair of eyes up on a roof I could not get up on. Thank you Zac for helping a widow. My next roofing job will be with Roof Dr. If I would have went with them instead of trying to save a little extra bit of money, this would have been all avoided! Service: Roof inspection"
