"Wolverine Contracting Design + Remodel provided us with exceptional craftsmanship for our renovation. They weren’t our cheapest option but their unique cost-plus process of contracting, clear & transparent labor rates and discounts saved us thousands on our projects. We have never seen a company operate in this manner, but it just made complete sense to us, and it works extremely well. Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. He is extremely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his trade. His communication skills and integrity were second to none. I don’t know how he handles all the stress, but he makes it look easy. All team members and subcontractors were respectful of us and our home and a pleasure to work with as well. We highly recommend Wolverine Contracting and will be contacting them for any future projects."

"We purchased our home in Ann Arbor Township approximately one year prior to engaging Ellis Builders. I am delighted with our new room. The workmanship is top notch and attention to detail superb. Mr Ellis worked with us to refine our design goals and was quick to see both flaws and potential in our plan. He was not deterred by obstacles but did his research to discover the best way around a problem not previously encountered. We made a “team” and that was awesome. EllisBuilders also did a good bit of repair work on the exterior of the house and minor problem solving and repairs on the interior. I was familiar with A kitchen remodeling done by this company before we engaged them for our projects. We were not disappointed!"

"We replaced the windows in our 1933 home through the services of MadCity Windows. From the initial contact with their sales representative to final installation, the company provided top notch professional work. With the draft from the old windows and the cold of the glass, we are already saving on our energy bills. Our house had old, large windows, so they had to be custom made. As an industrial designer and interior designer, we find our windows to be of excellent quality."

"Very good experience from start to finish. Floor looks great, will recommend them for sure!"

"The bathroom remodel went really well! Fast, efficient and clean!!!"

"Dwight did a great job of taking on basic concept and turning it into a 3d drawing of our house."

"Lucas was able to install a bathroom fan for us, install a vanity, paint our basement ceilings, install lights in our basement, and complete a closet install in our upstairs bedroom. This work was completed within a timely manner and Lucas was responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. He was very thorough in his work as well."

"Steve and his team did an excellent job on our basement remodel, and we would absolutely hire them again. From the start, Steve was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He helped us navigate a complicated insurance process with patience and clear explanations, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Once that was handled, Steve worked closely with us on the design and layout, making sure the space actually fit how we live. He didn’t push generic solutions and paid close attention to the details throughout the build. Communication was consistent, follow-through was strong, and nothing was left unfinished. What sets Steve apart is his enthusiasm for custom work. He combines creative design ideas with practical construction experience, which made a big difference when solving layout challenges and building custom features. The finished basement is now one of our favorite spaces in the house. We recommend Steve without hesitation for work big and small!"
