"Discussed the Owens Corning basement finishing system.  It is an expensive system.
The presentation was the epitome of the hard sell.  It is hard to get past the selling tactics and the high price.
We looked at another basement they did, and read reviews on the company.  
The basement looked good, but did have some small problems with "fit and finish".  
Reviews are generally good in the area of basement refinishing, but generally not good in other areas, such as installing a powder room.  I concluded that the company started out installing the Owens Corning system, and were well qualified at that; then expanded into other home remodeling, and have not developed that part of the business well.
