"Mr. Canales arrived, reviewed the repairs needed, & gave me the price to complete the work. I agreed and then he proceeded to repair the soffit & fascia. I needed it done right away before the next storm with wind made more damage. I was pleased to have it repaired so promptly."

"First...please distinguish this "Castle" from reports on other franchises.  This one is based in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
It went very well.  In 2003 we had 9 windows replaced by this vendor with their double hung windows.  At the time (for some reason I can't remember...probably cost) we decided against replacing two dining room windows and one in our small bedroom.  About twice a year, we would get calls from Castle asking about those windows and I politely told them we weren't interested.  We finally got tired of those windows sticking and being difficult to clean...and decided to call THEM.
They arranged for a salesperson to visit within two days of my call.  My salesperson ("Bryan") was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.  When compared with the price we paid 10 years ago per window, there had been a slight increase.   I asked Bryan about two of the existing windows that had screen tears.  He reminded me that Castle Windows had a LIFETIME guarantee...and that the screens were also covered.  Given our satisfaction with how our 2003 windows have held up,  I decided to forgo additional estimates and stick with the service that had proven themselves...and their product.
Within two days, a person came out to measure our windows...and he was able to do that after 6pm when we got home.  While he was at our house, I pointed out the broken screens.  He took them out to his truck and repaired (put new screening on the frames) ON THE SPOT!!  He also expressed satisfaction working for Castle and that they had permitted him a job change after an accident made it tough for him to be a regular installer.  I believe that employees who speak well of their company are reflective of good quality work...another positive.
As we were going on vacation, we delayed installation for two weeks beyond the date they gave us.  Even so...from sales call...to installation was only a month.   There was a front office mix up on the installation time....despite my call a day ahead to confirm their arrival from 9a-10a.  When no one showed by 10:30a, I called the office and they investigated...getting back to me within 15 minutes to apologize and let me know they would be there between 2pm-3pm.   The installation crew (3) let by Carlos did arrive at 2:45p...and were done by 4:15p.  The were polite, professional and cleaned up everthing....even rehanging the hardware for the shades and reinstalling them.
I would recommend them without reservation.  Just be sure which Castle you're getting to put windows in your castle.

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

In most cases, it makes more sense to repair leaking or damaged gutters than it will to replace them. You’ll spend an average of $400 to repair your gutters, while full replacement will cost around $2,000 or more, depending on the gutter material and style and the size of your home. If your gutters are nearing the end of their lifespan—usually around 20 years for aluminum or vinyl gutters or up to 50 years for copper or steel—then it might make sense to replace them, as it could cost you less in the long run.

When you need to repair your galvanized gutters from leaks and caulk isn’t doing the job, you can solder your gutters with a roofer’s soldering iron. First, you’ll need to clean your gutters thoroughly with a wire brush and remove rust and oxidized paint. Next, you’ll make weld points on the gutter and solder over the connection until it’s completely smooth. You can also hire a roofing company near you to tackle this project.

Yes, professionals can spot and rectify downspout issues such as clogs, leaks, or disconnections during cleaning. They ensure proper water flow, protecting the building's foundation and preventing water damage or erosion.

One of the biggest causes of gutter leaks is clogged gutters. If your gutters are full of debris and leaves, water will back up and eventually overflow outside of the gutter. Other common causes of gutter leaks include loosened gutter fasteners, faulty gutter slopes (sagging gutters), separated joints, and cracks or holes.

The cost to repair copper gutters typically ranges from $200 to $1,500. The final price is determined by the severity of the damage, current material costs, labor rates, and whether any additional reinforcements are needed for the repair.
