"My garbage disposal was nonfunctional and leaking. The other half of the sink was not leaking but its piping was apparently bad, upward incline after the trap. They showed up at the beginning of the 9-10am time window, quickly looked at the problem, and then were able to get the parts from Home Depot and do the replacement immediately. They tested both sinks for leaks and tested the disposal (wired wall switch). Dishwasher tube was connected to disposal but not tested (would have required running the dishwasher for a full cycle). Overall they were professional and courteous. Answered questions about pricing and why the extra piping work was needed. No significant mess left behind. Time taken ~2 hours total. Cost detail as follows: Replaced 1/2 hp garbage disposal (Insinkerator Badger 500) - $479 Replaced Two traps for dual sink drain - $200 Total - $679 The price is more than I had expected for this project as I had not anticipated the extra pipe work, but per google the sink trap replacement cost appears average. The Badger 500 is listed at $150 from Home Depot."

"This company was prompt, professional and provided good service. Installation of the treatment tank was well managed and they were very informative. Word to those considering a treatment tank -- we found about 2 months after installation that the treatment system had over-corrected and we then had extremely alkaline water (which yes is supposed to be healthy to a degree but it wreaks havoc on your hair). My husband and I both found our hair had quickly become brittle and dry and it took a bit of discussion to figure out the only recent change was our water treatment system. I called R&G back and they re-tested and determined we now needed a water softener system. They did install and that resolved all the issues. If I had one concern it is that the company should, based on their experience, anticipate something like that and at least provide the warning in advance or return within a week and re-test your water to determine if the over-correction had occurred. It would have been better to be so informed and pro-active about addressing rather than experiencing the effects of the alkaline system and then fixing. Also, would have been helpful to be able to anticipate the additional cost. Each water treatment tank is about $1700 - so ultimately we did have to expend twice as much as originally planned in order to arrive at appropriate pH levels. They are a good, professional and knowledgeable company. Just anticipate the potential for overcorrection and ask for re-testing after install so that you can make sure your system is where you need it to be."
"45 years of experience. Rick arrived on a Friday afternoon about 2 PM with assistant Dave. He tested the well pump and found it still worked. He asked if I wanted to replace it. The well pump was 31 years old so I had him replace it. The holding tank was also 31 years old but it was bad. They replaced both in about 2 hours . Outstanding job! Everything worked right the first time it was installed. I was charged about $150.00 less than the estimate of $3000.00. I give R&G the highest recommendation. "Baltimore City Water Department told me I had a water main break somewhere between the meter at the street and the main cut off to my house. I called three different companies to get estimates. The first company told me yes it is the water main (didnà ¢à  à  t do any testing to determine this) and cost will be $4,000.00 to replace it. Second company told me I needed to replace both the water main and the sewer line (again no testing) and the cost would be almost $8,000.00. Mike Crouse from Atlantic Blue came out and told me he wasnà ¢à  à  t convinced the water main was the problem. He spent a lot of time troubleshooting the issue by cutting off water to various parts of the house and then checking to see if the meter was still spinning out of control. As it turned out the line that feeds the icemaker in my refrigerator ruptured and that is what was flooding a crawl space! I canà ¢à  à  t begin to say how grateful I am for Mikeà ¢à  à  s knowledge and attention to detail and he saved me thousands of dollars! I wish I could give him 10 stars!"
