Small jobs welcome

"I hired a plumber through HomeAdvisor using prepay but I would not recommend this service. The contractor left a leaky pipe that caused water coming up through carpet. I had to purchase a wet vacuum to dry out the carpet. I had to contact HomeAdvisor again and hired Dave the Plumber, LLC who had to redo the installation done previously. Dave the Plumber replaced all the piping and outside spigot because of a water leak the previous contractor left. Thank you Dave the Plumber for being a professional and a job well done."

"My experience was great, the team arrived on time and completed both bathrooms within five hours. Both teams walked me through the process, tearing down walls, removing the old tub, removing the old shower replacing water lines, I was able to see step by step the entire process. The end result was fantastic, the master bathroom has a new fresh shower and my guest bathroom has a new walk in shower (tub removed). THANK YOU Mike S., Steven Z., Trae S., Alex H., and Justin H. You young men are the BEST!! I'm loving my new bathrooms."

Customers say: Quality work

"Everything went great. I showed Robby a picture of what I wanted and that’s what we got. The project took a bit longer than we thought but the final product is excellent. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them if your looking for a bathroom remodel."

"We love our new bathroom. Install was completed in a day as promised. Our installer, Hector, went above and beyond. He made the install go seamlessly and the end result was amazing. Chris was also part of the install team and kept the job flowing and did an excellent job at clean up!!! Thanks for transforming our bathroom. Would definitely recommend!"

"Reliable Construction Work remodeled our entire bathroom, replacing tub with shower, did extensive tiling and flooring, hung new door and installed new toilet and vanity. Employees were courteous, hard-working, and did a high quality job in the allotted time--there was none of the starting a job and then showing up only a few hours a day while working on another job. We were so pleased with the results we are having them do another bathroom. NOTE: Reliable Construction Work is not one of those boutique remodeling contractors that charges an arm and a leg in return for doing nothing other than to look at some brochures. If you do not mind playing an active role in selecting materials, ordering supplies, and maybe running up to the local hardware store to get something, this is the company for you."

"Trent was very professional. He arrived on time and was very efficient getting his work done. My toilet wasn't shutting off and he took the time to explain why it wasn't working and how he fixed it. He quickly fixed the problem and it worked beautifully after that."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Most codes require 15 inches on either side of the toilet's centerline (from the wall or vanity) and at least 21 to 24 inches between the toilet and the wall in front of it. These codes ensure that your toilet is easy to use and access, even in small bathrooms. Check your local building codes for the exact measurements required.

If you notice water leaking down the side of the bowl or tank and you don’t notice any cracks in the porcelain, the odds are that it’s condensation. If you notice water around the base of the toilet, this points to a leak. Check for loose bolts. A sewage odor may also indicate a broken toilet flange.

There are a few ways to unclog a toilet without a plunger. Break up the clog with homemade solutions containing soap, vinegar, and baking soda, or simply let hot water spend some time in the drain. You can also use a two-liter soda bottle filled with water to push pressurized water into the pipe to dislodge the debris (see the steps above).

Yes, flushing a clogged toilet can make it overflow. While flushing the toilet may push enough pressure through the system to dislodge the clog, this is unlikely. Your best bet is to use a plunger and hope the suction can break up whatever is blocking the pipe. If this doesn’t work, use a plumbing auger or call a pro to help.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.
