Required plumbing, electrical, paint, framework, waterproofing, flooring, and problem-solving for issues that arose in both. Allen worked diligently and patiently with us to provide the bathrooms we designed and envisioned. Provided us with vendors. Worked with us on scheduling. Left the workspaces clean and tidy EVERY day. Gave us options on many decisions for component placement and honored our choices and explained why it would or wouldn't work. "Francisco worked with us and went over just about ever inch of our new kitchen design and options for the remodel. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had, and he always was transparent with us regarding costs and designs. Once the design and material was picked out, we were able to set up the project with about 6-8 weeks lead time. Once the project began, his team, led by their onsite manager, Ismael, were absolutely fantastic with the quality of work. If they had questions, they asked, and we all worked together to get exactly what my wife and i wanted in our brand new kitchen (which we LOVE). I am absolutely ecstatic on the work they did. "While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

"Jerry was friendly, efficient, straight-talking, and didn't try to upsell us. We didn't need (or want) a lot of design input and had a strong sense for the types of tile and fixtures we wanted. Many of the other contractors who came to give quotes pushed design services or strongly encouraged us to purchase low-quality tile/fixtures through their suppliers, but this wasn't the case with S & J. Elias was fantastic--he helped confirm our tiles and fixtures were appropriate before we finalized our purchases, and we appreciated his attention to detail throughout the process."
