"Everything went very smoothly. Sam, the plumber, and is highly professional and knowledgeable. He replaced 3 faucets, 2 sink plugs, two valves, and two supply lines. Sam inspected the p traps, and he added adhesive where it was necessary. Sam also took a look at my two year old hot water heater, and he assessed my water supply to this unit. We discussed performing a complete drain, and check of the components of the heater at a later date. Sam also advised me that a toilet in the basement should be replaced with a more updated commode. We rarely use this toilet, but it's 35 years old. I felt comfortable speaking with Sam. I did not sense he was doing a sales pitch."

He said that he needed to get another man to help him. The two repairmen returned to our house about 2 hours later. Another compamy said that the minimum charge would be $1500-$1800 to install a new water heater. The third company said that they would charge $1,260 to install a water heater. Our water heater died at a most inopportune time. Our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren were visiting us. We all needed to take a shower and we needed to run the dishwasher. We were desperate to get a new water heater. If we could have waited until Monday, I'm sure that we could have saved some money. The cost was $2,160."
