Awful company, tried to scam me. The guy came here and took a look, tried to charge me $1600 for a single part replacement. He said it is not worth it so insist me to replace the whole furnace and AC, which would easily cost over $10k. I let him go and did my own research. I found the broken part and purchased a similar unit for $269 (a blow motor), replaced it and now my AC is running again. Especially this technician made me feel really uncomfortable. As soon as he arrived, he told me that my furnace and AC were very old and full of problems. He even started fiddling with another completely unrelated AC unit for quite a while, then told me that one also had all sorts of issues. Between the lines, it was clear he was just trying to get me to replace everything so they could make more money. I told him the other unit had no problems. He said he didn't know, so I went and turned the switch on--only to find the unit wasn't running at the time. I told him it had been working just fine earlier. Then he said, "oh yeah? so why isn't it running?" For a moment, I even wondered if he had sabotaged something while I wasn't looking... Thankfully, he was just being a jerk with his words and didn't actually do anything. If he had done something, this wouldn't just be a one-star review situation. Yes, also, Oh, and one more thing. When it came time to charge me, he asked for $99. But I found them through a promotion that clearly states new customers only pay $59. He made no effort to mention that. It was only after I brought it up that he adjusted the price. Classic predatory behavior. Anyway, try avoiding this predatory company.

A very unsatisfying experience. From punching a hole in the wall and never telling us they wouldn’t repair it or recommend anybody who could and then when you calculate the labor involved it was probably over $350 an hour, and then they tried to upsell to repair things that were Questionable, for ridiculous prices. I would not recommend

I had a simple job: install a garbage disposal that I had purchased. The job ended up taking another crew about 30 minutes, and they charged me less than $100 to do it. Before that, I had called Flood to make an appointment for this and after insisting they give me an estimate over the phone, they lied to me and said "the manager is not available"--even though I later learned they had a "standard price" for this job: AT LEAST $800. That's right, $800 for a 30 minute job. After I refused I still had to pay the fee for the man to come out and tell me this. This place is a COMPETE RIP OFF. They are UNETHICAL. STAY AWAY!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They overcharge. They gave me a 6 year warranty and would not allow me to use the warranty. I paid over $4,000 for a brand new water heater in 2001. They made up a bunch of reasons why I could not use it. Such as the outside temperature "risen to 70 degrees in the last few days." My sensor went bad, they replaced it 3 years ago, this should be covered under warranty. Instead, they charged me $450 to replace the vapor sensor. I asked for an itemized receipt, again they refused. After calling multiple days the owner, Johnny, finally answered. He said his job is worth that much money.

AC was not working workman replaced blower motor capacitor...this part cost only $13.99 but they charged me $400.00 dollars for this service. What a way to over charge a senior citizen...called other companies and they quoted me a price of $240.00. These guy are total ZIP OFF ARTISTS will never use them again.

Great! Called on a Sunday, they were out within hours. Servicemen are always in company trucks, clean, and very professional.

Wonderfully, they arrived on a Sunday and on time within 24hours of my call. I received a text with a picture of the plumber when he was on his way. The work was completed quickly.

In my opinion, they ran a false advertising. They charged 79 dollars for the tune up services when they were rrunning a TV ad for 59.99. Next day when I saw the ad and called their office, the person on the other line said if you do not mention the ad we are not obligated to give you that pricing just like Pizza if you do not have the coupon, you pay full price.

John C Flood replaced my gas furnace and air conditioner. The installation team led by Prackny was superb. They treated my home as if it was theirs. Prackny was dedicated to finishing the very large job that he estimated to be 2 days in 1 day. He stayed late on his own to finish the installation and didn't finish up until after 8PM. It was all worth it. I am very happy with this installer and their team. When getting initial estimates this is the only installer who pointed out issues with the return duct size and how they would compensate for it. Prackny left my utility room looking better than when he arrived! They even found a way to run a new liquid refrigerant line over the ceiling without having to cut holes into the ceiling. Something that the other installer thought was not possible. I give this installer my highest possible recommendation!!!

I hired them to fix the sewer backup. Given the urgency, the sales project manager convinced me to (i) do a thorough camera inspection to identify the problem (they would provide me with the video footage); (ii)then snake to clear the clog; (iii) replace the the pip if needed (identified by the camera inspection.)The technicians cleared the clogs. Two days later, the toilets and showers got clogged again. I reached back to them. The attitude of the person in charge of the case was extremely poor. They said they did not have the video footage and kept on changing the story that are factually incorrect.

Richard and Damon were excellent plumbers , very trustworthy, polite, clean and worker hard. Also punctual.

Excellent! High quality work, completed quickly. Went out of their way to meet all of our requests - protecting plants, transplanting plants, protecting and replacing hardscaping. Left the site in excellent condition (clean and restored).

It went well. Fast response by a competent plumber. Problem solved in a matter of only a few hours.

Fantastic! I can't recommend Dave high enough. I've always been impressed with John C Flood's technicians but Dave takes it to a new level.

Camera was ran down the stack from the roof. One crack 4ft down stack which was above our water line. No visible cracks or holes in the sewer line for Rodent could come through.

I was able to get a same-day appointment in the middle of the summer. David arrived as scheduled and did a comprehensive examination of our HVAC unit. He explained what he was doing as he proceeded through his work and was patient and professional as I asked questions. He clearly explained his recommendations going forward. I would absolutely hire John C. Flood again. In fact, I would not even consider another company.

Eric McCathran performed the work quickly, professionally and courteously. We have used John C. Flood for our plumbing needs for decades and have always been happy with their work.

Great! Once again, Dale at John C. Flood is the absolute best. He identified the problem quickly and fixed it without any problem. He also checked and tuned up some other developing issues before they became problems. Dale always provides great care and consistent service for my temperamental HVAC system. I always appreciate not just his deep knowledge but also his unfailing fairness and honesty.

Richard of JC Flood, was very knowledgeable and pointed out several flaws in original installation and corrected them. He was courteous, efficient, and on time. Work was completed to high standards, and payment method very convenient. I would definitely use them again.

I called and got and appointment that same morning. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly efficient and polite. The plumber called to tell me he was on the way, arrived well within the scheduled period, and fixed the problem promptly. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

After examining the faucet, the repair person determined that it needed to be replaced. He installed a new faucet, which looks great and is working fine. The cost of replacing the faucet was higher than a repair of the old faucet would have been, but that is part of owning a home. The quality of the work was excellent. I think John C. Flood is a trustworthy company.

Very well This is the third time that I have rated this company. If it continues I will no longer respond to any questionnaires

Work was undertaken very quickly and professionally with no apparent problems encountered by the service technician.

The John C Flood technician arrived in the late afternoon about an hour after they were called. He assessed the problem and had a team on site the next morning to begin work. As soon as the sewer line was replaced John C Flood team lead Andy Clark had a team of carpenters on site to install a new deck. Everything was completed in what seemed to be the shortest possible time. All of the Flood employees were experienced and engaged in the work. Andy Clark and I spoke daily and the project was completed on the schedule promised. Well Done !
