Get matched with top grab bar installation pros in Poolesville, MD

" We were recommended to DMV by a neighbor.  The initial meeting with Oscar was great.  He was able to meet around our schedules which helped a lot.  We went to the local showroom and also to the granite showroom in Virginia. A different gentlemen came to the house to do all the measuring.  As it turned out, we had some unusual counter configurations that didn't get completely translated to the cutters and installers.  This turned out to be very frustrating for the installers.  As a result of the miscommunication, some additional cutting and re-installing had to be done.  There were some additional miscommunications and some millwork that should have been done didn't happen.  However, as soon as we pointed these out to Oscar he sent in some millwork pros who worked long and hard and did a beautiful job.  In the end, we were really happy with the counters and all of the trim work.

"Westshore installer Fabio showed up in our house to install a shower door after we had a shower system installed and we realized we needed a shower door. Fabio was very courteous and professional, our bathroom looks great, thanks"

"Hired HandyPro to install shower bench, 18" grab bar and a stainless steel flip-up grab bar in the master bath. I appreciated the detailed consultation and explanation of equipment options. Once I made a decision on the extent of the modification, the equipment arrived and work began about a week later. There was a glitch with the ordered equipment but the situation was resolved quickly and I am so happy with the finished product. I will definitely call on them again for more hom modifications."

"Allen, owner of ARM, was professional, personable, and extremely competent. He planned the project so that I received the most exacting proposal and estimate for any project I have had done. He was required to cut through a support beam and ensured the structural integrity of the roof would not be impacted before starting the install. He took two days to complete the installation of the stairway that was 11 foot high. He included some extra work laying down a plywood platform to walk and stand on. Both days exceeded 8 hours — he worked until the planned work was finished. After completing the installation, he spent time cleaning up the garage ensuring no trash or dirt was left behind. I would hire ARM Construction in a minute for any small or large future construction related projects. I can’t say enough good about Allen and his work."

"We hired Chevy Chase Remodeling to install a new roof on our entire house and new siding on our garage.  We purchased a "Big Deal" through Angie's list for 3-D architectural shingles and we are very happy with the results.  The work crew was very professional, the removal of the old shingles, clean up and install went very smoothly.  We had a few boards to replace but we negotiated a price of $65/board prior to the start of work.  We had to replace only 3 boards!  Two days later a different crew arrived to side our garage and once again we were impressed with the work, the clean up and the final look of the garage.  The Chevy Chase staff was very responsive to all of our questions and we will indeed hire them again.  Great company!  Highly recommend!

"Devin Nasvaderani of Marvel Homes rebuilt my small bathroom
from subfloor to ceiling.  Water had
leaked down through the subfloor into the dining room downstairs, so the entire
bathroom had to be rebuilt.  I took
several months to talk to a number of contractors, and I am very glad I got
Devin.  Devin listened carefully to what
I wanted, making suggestions as requested but never trying to ?upsell? me.  As an old budget officer, I was determined to
make sure there were no surprises at the end, but not only was the work
completed on time and on budget, but the extra items I ended up asking for were
delivered at less than I had expected, and were done with the same excellent
quality as the scope work.  In some
cases, Devin advised me strongly that some work the other contractors said
would ?probably? be needed, was not needed.  His ?allowances? for tile and plumbing were
the only realistic such estimates I got from any contractor, and he passed on
his contractor discount to me at the tile and plumbing shops, allowing me to
build a very nice, quality bathroom at less than the originally estimated price
point.
The work quality was excellent, and his crew were
professional, polite, clean and non disruptive.
He managed to gain me several more inches inside the shower, put
insulation against the outside wall that the original home builder had not
bothered with, and generally fixed up all the weak points of the original
bathroom.  The bathroom, although small,
is the ?master bathroom? so the crew had to go through my bedroom to access it.  Each morning, they covered everything in my
room with plastic, put tarps from the front door to the bathroom, and every
evening removed everything and vacuumed, leaving my room absolutely clean each
night.  They were even fairly quiet,
considering the nature of the work. (the hammering etc sounded ?precise? and
methodical to my untrained ear, never just banging away.)  So, my highest recommendations for this work.

"VKB renovated our 40 year old master bathroom and we absolutely love it! With the professional and talented Designer, Calvin, the excellent workmanship of the installer, and the coordinated direction of the Project Manager, Jason -- the install went smoothly and was completed on time. VKB installed quality products and managed all the small details with ease. Our bathroom is beautiful and has brought our family great joy and happiness! Thank you VKB for your care and dedication you took to improve our quality of living in our home."

"Converted tub to shower, 1 day installation! Professional from start to finish, it was very smooth working with them. I appreciated how thorough and transparent they were in regards to pricing and timeline of the whole project. Not the cheapest of the contractors I got quotes from but their labor and materials came with warranty and 1 day installation was worth the cost. Plus, their quote was still a bit cheaper than other well known national brands that offer similar service. Highly recommend Renken!"
