"DMV Kitchen and Bath RECOMMENDATION 2023 March In December 2022-January 2023, DMV Kitchen and Bath completely gutted and rebuilt 2 bathrooms for me (foundation, pipes, electric – everything). In addition, they restored several 110 year-old door transoms, installed new doors (5 panel solid wood) throughout the house, upgraded some woodwork, installed two pocket doors, and painted a few rooms. "Before my 96-year-old father moved in with us, I contacted Handypro of Washington to assess our house for needed safety modifications. Ali came out and walked through the house, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and proposed helpful modifications. Despite me changing my mind a few times as to which modifications I wanted done, Ali accommodated me without complaint. His crew efficiently installed an attractive grip bar in my raised foyer (above the step into the kitchen), 2 grab bars in the shower, and a handrail for my garage steps. My father uses them all today, which gives me much peace of mind. For future modifications/installations (possibly a chairlift and a second handrail for the basement stairs), I will call Ali and Handypro again. I am pleased with their work!"

"This is our second go with Kitchen Saver. We used their services in our vacation condo five years ago and obviously were happy with them, so we called them again to do the kitchen in our primary home. We first met with Al Brauer, the sales consultant (who we had worked with five year earlier - continuity is important), in early January. We were able to make choices from a wide variety of looks and although we thought we knew what we wanted, in fact we decided on something different. Al was helpful in showing us what could and couldn't be done. Two weeks later Bernie came for the exact measurements, and on February 11 Jae Kim arrived to start the job. The refacing itself took about 6 days, and included the removal of cabinets over a kitchen peninsula and the construction of a new cabinet above the range to accommodate a larger microwave. We had all the doors made to soft-close, and new drawers made the same, and two cabinets were fitted with pullout drawers. We also had a wet bar in the family room redone with a new wine rack installed. Without exception, everyone we worked with at Kitchen Saver was professional and friendly and certainly knew what they were doing."

"Allen and Jeff did all the work themselves. They arrived everyday at a set time, which they texted before they arrived, and left 8+ hours later. They ate their lunch on the job. It was obvious they had certain goals for their work each day. They included us in everything from where to place toilet, sink and grab bars to color, etc. They made recommendations for purchasing sinks, counter tops, etc, but let us choose how to purchase, through them or us. They showed us exactly what they were doing every step of the way. They checked every measurement to carefully lay tile, floor, hang vanity and dry wall, even using a level to hang shower curtain rod. We had complete confidence in their work. I never felt that I had to check on how they were doing things, which was a first for work done in our homes. We highly recommend ARMS Home Improvement for any job at your home. "Naveed is a very professional contractor. He always returns your text or calls back on time. When he was contracted to do few plumbing items at my home, he came on time with this team, followed our guidelines of no shoes inside the home and completed all work professionally. One of the tasks had a scope creep since he did not realize he had to remove closet to access the plumbing and he did not change the fees for that job. He also fixed my minor bathroom shower leak at no charge while performing another job in that bathroom. All in all, I would recommend Naveed and would call him again for my contracting needs."

The project started on schedule and was completed within the estimated timeframe in spite of several weather delays. The project manager, Andy Lombard, and the American Deck crew were top notch. All permitting was taken care of efficiently and the work crew was friendly, experienced and proficient.  
The only real down side was related to an electrical subcontractor who didn?t seem to have any regard for scheduling. On two separate incidents I had arranged to go in late or stay off work in order to provide access for the electrician only to have him not show ? very infuriating at the time ? but the electrical work was completed professionally and all is well. 
As in any project, there were a few punch-list items that needed to be addressed toward the end of the project. All issues were quickly and satisfactorily rectified. When I asked about the finishing on one of the stair treads, they even added extra trim and bull-nose framing around the edge of the entire deck? at no additional cost.  Andy was very responsive to all requests for information and status; although, I would have liked a bit of a more proactive approach, but that?s more me than him.
   
The end result is well crafted and has brought us a great deal of pleasure over the summer while entertaining guests; sitting, eating and drinking, without concern for rain or bugs. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend American Deck to anyone looking for a quality product installed by a professional crew.
