Gary arrived on time and patiently went through the house to try and diagnose the new and very frequent “ghost” water sounds throughout my house. Checking the area where water sounds could be originating from, Gary located a joint on my sump pump that had a leak and was causing the trap on the pump not to close completely resulting in the water sounds. He replaced the joint and installed a silent trap which is wonderful because the sump pump had gotten so loud over the years that it could be loud enough to keep someone awake! Then, he snaked out my kitchen sink that was backing up and now it’s draining better than ever. Gary was professional and very knowledgeable, and explained what needed to be done and why. This is the first time I felt like only necessary work was being performed at a reasonable price. I will definitely call on Heil plumbing for all my future plumbing work."

Then the installation was scheduled--counters, sink, and faucet--and it all went very smoothly--even with a run to Home Depot by the plumber for a fitting. I really like that they contract the plumber and that all the installation is done in one day, so there's no down time in teh kitchen."

"Excellent! Being on a limited budget, I had called several plumbers to get an affordable price. I had spoken with some very nice people, but James Fama owner of Quality Plumbing was the only person who actually listened to me. I told him that I was fairly certain of what the problem was because in younger years I had fixed it myself. He was the only plumber that quoted me a price on exactly what I wanted fixed. Some of the other plumbers quoted outrageous prices for some ridiculously unnecessary work, some scoffed at what I said the problem was, but not James. He genuinely listened, asked questions and even though I did not know the lingo he knew what I was talking about. He did quote "worse case scenario" prices to me just in case and even those were quite fair. Mr. Fama came at the scheduled time and went right to work. The job was done quickly and precisely as we had discussed. It went so smooth in fact, that I asked him to fix a pipe for a sink that hadn't worked in years. He had to go to Home Depot to get the part but, he was very quick about it and had the sink fixed in a very timely manner. Mr. Fama did not waste a lot of time talking when he got here because he went straight to work, but after the job was finished we did chat a little bit. He is a quiet, very likeable and amiable man. He said that he was a small business with only one truck and that it is hard to compete with the "fleet of truck" businesses sometimes. That statement got me thinking that I was more impressed with this hard working man of his word than I could ever have been with those larger companies who in some cases seem to have forgotten the "human aspect" of the job. It is my sincere hope that the people who read this will consider giving the smaller businesses like Quality Plumbing a fighting chance. Bigger may not always be the more prudent choice. In closing I would like to add, that being a disabled, senior citizen it is so hard to find companies with integrity, as many of you may already know. Therefore; I would recommend Quality Plumbing to all Senior Citizens as well as anyone with a handicap or disability because I was treated with honesty, fairness and respect. I asked Mr. Fama to give me a big handful of his business cards to carry in my purse, so I could hand them out to everyone. This is the kind of "word of mouth" advertising that Quality Plumbing has earned and whole heartedly deserves."

"James did multiple jobs for me after diagnosing the actual problem. Correcting the issue required james to replace part of an old pipe which could only be accessed through a ceiling. James not only fixed the plumbing issue, he completed the carpentry work and repaired the ceiling. He also replaced my shower floor and the tiles surrounding it. James also replaced faucets on my utility sink. James is exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and a master of his craft. I highly recommend hiring him for your plumbing needs and wants."

"My bathroom sink was draining slowly. Two bottles of Drano didn't make much of a difference. While I had plumbers from Honest Abe's here, I asked how much it would cost to have them unclog/snake the drain. I was told that it would cost $247. I was shocked at this price and told them I would look elsewhere. I did. I purchased one of Angie's List's deals (for half the price - $125) for a small drain cleaning. Tim, the plumber, showed up on time with his female apprentice. He removed the sink trap, snaked the drain with an electric, automated snake, and replaced the trap. The sink drained great after that. The entire process took about 20 minutes.

"Work:   The owner is very professional and informative.  Quality is good.  No complains there.
Price:  The owner is a talker!!!  he tells you how difficult everything is in order to charge you more.  I paid $1375 for what it turns out to be only about 2 hours of work!  He charged me $675 for labor ONLY of installing sink and faucet, that is a ripe off!  BE WARE of the jacked up price he is given you!!  My sink was a drop in sink, with simple installation, and home depot installed my faucet for $100 service call before, so it is definitely not worth $675 just for labor to install those two items.
