Then the installation was scheduled--counters, sink, and faucet--and it all went very smoothly--even with a run to Home Depot by the plumber for a fitting. "Everything went well. This is the third time we have used Mr. Fama. It's really nice to have someone you can rely on to be on time and do the job and know everything will done well. "James did multiple jobs for me after diagnosing the actual problem. Correcting the issue required james to replace part of an old pipe which could only be accessed through a ceiling. James not only fixed the plumbing issue, he completed the carpentry work and repaired the ceiling. He also replaced my shower floor and the tiles surrounding it. "The kitchen drain was snaked but a vent and a clean out needed to be installed. The company that did my kitchen remodel did not do a good job. After they installed a vent and clean-out the line was snaked again. A few days later I noticed Water in another part of the house. It was a leak in the main stack. It seemed that the cast iron pipe had rusted and with the snaking, it developed a hole. My house was built in the 1920?s and this was the original stack. These plumbers were able to do it all and at a great price. Much, much less than I would have paid through some of the other plumbing companies. I will use these guys again and again. Everything was explained and I saw the problems with the pipes. I was impressed that they showed up when they said they would and if they were running a little late they would call. They are able to do the job quickly and effectively. They are and A+ in my book.

"Gleanoak plumbing was very professional and responded to the call and promptly showed up at the appointed time as a service call to clean out a clogged kitchen sink. We agreed upon the price of $275, which is steep, but this needed to be done and he seemed reputable - indeed he was both professional and prompt.
During the job, Gleanoak Plumbing was asked to look at the upstairs sink that I had shut off the hot water as there was a slow drip underneath the sink. He called me and stated that the nut was cracked and that was why it was dripping. If he wanted me to take care of it, he could, but the total cost of the job would sky-rocket to $700. This is price-gouging at it's finest. He was at our home for a total of 1h30 and charged a heckuva lot for a routine job.
Would NOT recommend this plumber on the basis of price-gouging.
