For our house they: Fixed the window frames outside because the mortar was broken or eroded and when it stormed outside, it rained inside our house. They changed rotten wood, painted it, cemented places in the brick wall that needed it, put mortar/caulk and sealed 4 windows from the outside. The other project was putting bifold closet doors which included cutting them to size, installing the hardware, and painting them. This was the first time I’ve had to hire someone to fix things around the house that I couldn’t, and I was really nervous. I’m grateful I found Chapin Handyman LLC through Angie’s list! Oh! "The gentleman showed up on time, and admitted that he had never worked with the dog door kit I had, to be installed in a sliding glass door. I admit that I was told, up front of their service charge for coming out. However, they were the only professionals that were willing to come out. As for the door the service man, he was the one that discovered the door was damaged, it has been returned. As for the dog door being installed, that has been ‘tabled’ now. Now, granted, I was informed ahead of time of all the expenses from the company, and I agreed to it. As to their work, I can not comment because they did not do any, their work may be excellent. The service man that came out was able to get me a deduction for any future work. As for me, this has been an expensive lesson, that has been learned."
