"We had a very positive experience working with Blackstone Kitchen and Bath company when we did a complete remodel of our hall bathroom with several customized design features. Joe and Leah were very patient and supportive during our discussions of the design and helped to make perfect selections of tile and accessories. The working crew was very professional, polite and neat, and did a great job keeping our house clean and minimally affected by the construction. The management was very accommodating and attuned to our needs and wishes: they truly cared about providing the best customer experience and were generous in allowing desired adjustments to the scope of work. "We selected American Kitchen Concepts after checking out several other companies. Dan, owner of the company, is also the designer. At other companies we felt that salesman / designer was just going through the motions and cranked out a cookie cutter, unimaginative design. Dan spends time to learn what you want and developed a design that was far superior and more aesthetically pleasing to those from other companies. After we signed the contract, we had second thoughts about our backsplash tile choice and decided not to extend the new flooring into our family room. Dan was very reasonable with his change order. Once the work started, their tradesmen were on site every weekday from demo to a new, functional kitchen. Dan and his installation team do a very good job of keeping the project moving. It would have finished on time, but the cabinet manufacturer shipped one cabinet 3” narrower than Dan ordered. Dan worked with the manufacturer to have the replacement cabinet expedited and it is due to arrive about a week after the other work was completed. The tradesmen are highly skilled and courteous. It was a comforting to have tradesmen in your house that you could trust. The final product is exactly as we had envisioned!"

"We had a wonderful experience with Granite Works! Initially, we used an Angie's List deal to get a vanity top for our bathroom remodel. They were very helpful in helping us pick a marble remnant that would work for our space. The particular remnant we chose was to thin to drill holes to secure the undermount sink, so one of owners showed me how to install the sink and even threw in a tube of caulk to get the job done. Certainly not much money, but it made a good impression.
Because of that great experience, we went back to Granite Works for a basement bar counter. Again, they had a remnant piece that worked for our space, which saved us a tremendous amount of money. They walked through the process, and because it was a larger piece, we had them come out to measure and install the counter. Everyone we spoke with, from the sales staff to the measurement staff and installers were incredibly helpful, professional, and patient. When we redo our kitchen I will go back in a heartbeat!"

"We used Mega Kitchen and Baths for a gut renovation and remodeling of a home that we recently purchased. Mega did great work from design through construction, installation, and finishing touches. Ibrahim promptly met all of our requests, and their workmanship was excellent. Katherine Bradshaw was an invaluable resource. She helped us select all of the hardware, colors, cabinets, tiles, etc. We decided to go with Mega in large part because of a walk-through of the house with Kat and her drawings for the kitchen. In the end, we were very glad that we chose Mega. Kat was a knowledgeable designer who listened to us and provided great input throughout the process. Both Kat and Ibrahim were always accessible and returned all communications promptly. It was a big job but Ibrahim and his team finished on time (on a tight schedule) and were thorough about taking care of everything on our punch list. We interviewed a number of contractors and Mega provided experience, value, and customer service. In short, we highly recommend the company and will use them again for any future projects."

Our new kitchen included new flooring, which extended into joining laundry room (we chose porcelain tile),  level 1 granite counter top, tile backsplash, paint, new cabinets, and electrical work (we replaced a big light with 4 recessed lights, and moved the location of our appliances.)

New half bathroom included new vanity, granite counter top, flooring (which extended into the entry way), paint, and they installed a new toilet, mirror and light fixture which we purchased separately.

Ocean's estimate was the best we received. (One contractor gave an estimate for just refacing cabinets which was almost as much as Ocean's for brand new ones.) They also had great reviews on Angie's List so we decided to go with them. We worked with Sean. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Our installers were a team of 3 that worked very efficiently and cleaned up after each work day.

There were a few hiccups along the way, but I think that can be expected when doing such a major job. Both Sean, and the installers made sure that we were happy in the end.

We would definitely use them again. The price was great, as was the quality of work and professionalism.

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"I used Ruxton Design and Build to remodel my condo kitchen and breakfast nook. During the initial appointment I went over what I was looking to have done and the possible color schemes that I wanted to include. The design was very nice and there even included a bench seating area made out of cabinets for my breakfast nook. It was a great utilization of space. I picked out my cabinets and most of my selections from the showroom, including my backsplash tile, flooring, handles, and knobs. It made things very easy. The team was very easy to work with and answered all my questions. I was able to get everything I wanted within my budget.
