Best contractors near Linganore, MD

"Allen is just the best contractor we've ever worked with. Our repair project was not an easy one to fix, but at the end we think it is worth every penny. Allen explained our options, listened to our concerns and needs, and worked with us every step of the way. We contracted with Allen and it was Allen who did the job from A to Z. He is not the kind of "contractor" who subcontracts his jobs. Allen and his aid, Jeff, are just the best. Highly recommended."

"While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

"I highly recommend Edwin and his team at E&V remodeling and a variety of projects. They were true professionals and did a fantastic job with power spraying our siding and replacing all of our outdated window screen mesh with high-quality materials. They also knocked out several 'odd jobs' and exceeded expectations. They were professional, punctual, and very easy to work with. I look forward to working with them in the near future. Rod H."

"We were very pleased with Fred and his team and intend on using them soon on other projects! Fred was knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced and finished the job a day early!"

"Did a great job in good as required. Experienced knowledgable contractor."

"HBLLC went about their work in an extremely professional and detailed manner. The work was finished by the date promised. The written homeowner/contractor agreement would make any lawyer proud. The agreement provided a road map for the work that was to be performed; and HBLLC adhered to the letter and the spirit of the agreement. During the course of the work when necessary tasks arose that had not been foreseen; HBLLC immediately issued a change order to the original agreement. HBLLC communicated and kept me informed daily as to what work was completed and what still had to be done. I am loath to heap praise; however I lost count of the times I uttered the word WOW when looking over HBLLC's work."
