"From start to finish, Eugene and his crew were excellent to work with. Our free estimate was much more concise than the "ballpark estimate" thrown out by other companies. While you should always budget for surprises during construction, our estimate was itemized in detail, and showed what upgrades were available and their pricing. The total price was the best of all of our estimates. They worked efficiently, were always friendly, and cleaned up each night before they left. "I had such a great team working on my home. Every project was completed exactly how I requested and done timely. The most important factor for me was how they cleaned up after themselves after every job. Also, the constant communication. The work is definitely quality. I did everything in phases just to get a feel of their work. I had electrical and painting done in my office and mudroom. I later decided to hire them to complete some electrical, painting, gym, and storage built out in my basement. I am saving up for the full bathroom I want done in my basement. Will definitely hire them again."

"We write this review as a sigh of relief now that our renovation project with River View is finally complete. The quality of the final work is excellent, and the construction crew, architect, and county inspector were all great to work with. The original crew we worked with, led by Edwin, were so hardworking, friendly, thorough, and fast. That's what really pushed us from 2 to 3 stars. However, the process getting here was frustrating and unnecessarily chaotic. Timeline & Communication Issues: Initial promise: We were clear that the renovation had to allow us to live in our home during construction and be completed before Christmas. Early communication: Our original project manager, Cris, was personable, and early communication seemed fine, if a bit informal and sometimes inappropriately personal. Major miscommunication: Near the holidays, we discovered that the plans submitted included cutting into the roof — something we explicitly said we didn’t want. This contradicted verbal assurances and caused major last-minute changes. Project Management Failures: Poor planning and oversight: Cris and the architect’s plan didn’t align with the construction work. We had to get involved directly with the county to fix errors. Paperwork errors: Incorrect submissions to the county added delays and confusion, which we had to monitor ourselves. Last-minute scramble: We were cleaning up dust on Christmas Eve due to these planning failures. Personnel Turnover & Lack of Handoff: Cris leaves the company: No proper handover to James, the new PM, who was unfamiliar with our project. Crew replaced: The original crew, who were great, were gone; new crew had no context or direction. James leaves: Another handoff with no context — the third PM had no idea about our project or its outstanding items. Escalation mishandled: When we raised our concerns with Kyle, the CEO, the response felt dismissive, with no accountability for the previous missteps. In summary, it's a beautiful end result... but we’re glad it’s over. The process left us frustrated, confused, and frankly, exhausted."

"Awful, awful experience. A true nightmare. They charged tens of thousands of dollars and messed up basically every aspect of our bathroom remodel. Given multiple opportunities to fix their problems, they did not. Extremely sloppy, low quality work. The work on the bathroom was clearly done by someone who has never seen a bathroom or used one, much less built one before. The shower leaks, the tile was so crooked and bumpy it had to be ripped out twice, the radiators were badly reinstalled and dripped water down through the floors into to kitchen below, the walls and ceilings they built are not straight or square, the sink handles immediately fell off, they caused a $1000 plumbing clog and our basement to flood with sewage by flushing construction debris down our toilet. Instead of replacing pipes, they kept the old pipe which we had asked them to replace, and then tried to hide and cover it up. They would also show up unannounced and let themselves into our home on days when they had not told us they would be coming or that we were supposed to expect anyone to be in our house. So on multiple occasions I would hear an unexpected noise and I'd look over and see someone in my house who I had never seen before in my life. And every time we raised an issue to them, they either ghosted us or tried to convince us it was fine and that their work had been done correctly. I have pictures to document all of these issues. I will never let anyone from DMV enter my house again and I will tell everyone I can to never do business with this company. Scammers, liars, incompetent, I hope they go out of business."

Jim was engaged at every step of the way, and the foreman was experienced, hard-working, professional, and communicative. Honest, transparent & understandable pricing, and most of all - they know the work. Jim has over 40 years of experience, and it is evident in the pride he takes in his projects. Overall, great pros to work with. I would unhesitatingly use them again!"
