"Overall, the finishing of my basement went pretty smooth. The Owens Corning product, drop down ceiling, and flooring are all really sharp. In the beginning everything went fast and smooth with the framing and wall/floor/ceiling install being done within 2 weeks. There were some hiccups with minor imperfections, tv mount in wrong spot, etc. Those were fixed promptly. After that is when I ran into issues with other items in my contract that were not taken care of and the project felt forgot about. Just had some minor electric work, stairs to get carpeted, and didn't receive hanging clips yet. I had to constantly ask about these items and every answer would be "I forgot to ask or send the clips". I eventually got the items completed, but am not happiest that it took almost a month and constant reminding to get these items that should've been scheduled for during the project."

"Mike came out immediately to look at my roof. He diagnosed and repaired the leak on time. Mike also repaired the drywall in my master bath. Excellent work. Would recommend for any home repair."

"Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways."

"Completed an upgrade to our 40-year-old kitchen w VKB Kitchen & Bath. Calvin worked closely w us on the design to get small cabinet and counter space in our townhouse. Al was our PM for the demolition and build-out phases. Al had the challenge as PM to coordinate demolition, new flooring on 1st level, electrical changes, cabinet installs and new fixtures that we purchased. They installed new disposal and ceiling fixture at no charge. No change orders on project. No gaps on work sequence. Finished in half of the contracted days. Great company, designer and PM."

"I bought a home built in 1943 in the historic part of Annapolis. I knew when I bought the home it would need a lot of work. I heard of John Krause through a friend and decided to give him a call for an estimate. He came to meet with me at which time he thoroughly evaluated my home and provided me with an estimate that was right in my budget. Through his training he assessed my home to have lead paint, told me that the city required lead abatement and explained the procedure. John kept in constant contact with me from beginning to end giving me updates and progress of the renovation and abatement project. I never fully realized the complicated process that comes along with lead abatement and fortunately his workers held an upstanding workmanlike manor throughout the whole renovation by keeping a safe and clean environment. I am very happy with John Krause Construction for the work performed at my new home and would recommend him to anyone that would like to get a total home renovation or need lead paint abatement for their home.
