It was a pleasure working with Daryl. The cost for the project was reasonable. He explained what the next step was in every phase of the project. He cleaned up every day before leaving the site. He completed the project in a timely manner.

Easy to work with and did all that they promised. The drywall ceiling turned out escellent. They even hauled away some piping that previous owners had left up inside the ceiling and that would have been a problem for us to take to the landfill since it was so long and heavy.

I had a lot of painting to be done with a lot drywall repairs needed. The price was very competitive and the quality of work was excellent! They also hauled away my junk and replaced my bathroom wall tile. Not the fastest repair job but the results were worth the wait! I would definitely use Sandco again.

Professional and efficient service. They did a great job and left the place clean. I used tape and drop cloths and still had paint everywhere. They didnâ t use anything but cloth and there wasnâ t a drop of paint anywhere.

Daryl is phenomenal!!! We needed to have our deck re-surfaced (surface boards removed and replaced and then stained). Went to my go-to at HomeAdvisor.com. Put in my requirements and out popped Sandco. I gave Daryl a call and he responded, among others. We got a few proposals and Daryl's was not only the least expensive, it was also the most comprehensive. This was a simple time and materials job. As we discussed the job I asked him if I could save some money by buying the lumber myself. He said sure. He gave me the exact list of what to order and I did so, having a couple of pallets of lumber delivered to my home. Note that what he told me to order was almost exactly what he needed, plus 2-3 extra boards. He didn't try to over-order anything. He and his crew (mostly Dad and maybe a cousin?) began the work. I was so incredibly impressed with his work ethic. Communications. Attention to detail. Cleanliness. We couldn't have asked for better. We did a final walk-around and I gave my our final check. My only regret: I truly apologize to Daryl for waiting so long to post this review; I should have done so last Summer just after he finished. We'll definitely be calling Daryl again when we need other work done.

Daryl was very quick. I looked up different companies on home advisor and he contacted me the same night. The next morning we booked my service for junk removal that over noon. He was very prompt, polite and incredibly reasonably priced.

I used to be a supervisor so I had to evaluate people - rarely did I rate anyone all 5s, but this is truly an outstanding company. I would hire them again and again and again!

Sandco was contracted to perform a complete basement renovation/restoration after a flood. While they did an adequate job with the demolition of the existing basement, and the framing and drywall, they did a horrible job of the tile work on both the floor and the shower. In both cases, the tiles were not set flush to their immediate neighbor in very large contiguous areas. Meaning a tile would be popping up into the arir, and the next tile would actully be recessed into the mortar. This created tripping hazards throughout the entire basement, including the bathroom. It was so bad that if you shined a bright light at floor level, you would see shadows across the floor. In addition there were inconsistant grout lines, and poor placement of cut tiles. The shower tiles were the same way. If you ran your hand down the tiles (large tiles), you'd bump your hand against the next tile. Additionally tiles were not straight and level, which lead to narrowing grout lines, similar to a pizza slice. When trying to work with SANDCO to resolve the situation, all we kept hearing were numerous excuses as to why the floor tile was so poorly done. None of which they took ownership of. Additionally they walked off the job, refusing to complete work after being paid for it. They left all kinds of food trash, and debris on the property, as well as running up our water bill by apx. an additional $80. My suggestion is to NOT use SANDCO for ANY tile work! If you hire them get EVERY little thing confirmed and agreed in writing beforehand.
Response from Sandco, LLC
"At Sandco we strive for high quality craftsmanship. All inspections were passed on [Consumer name withheld at their request]basement which can be checked via the County Website. The concrete floor to which the tile was set was not level, and varied in height across the entire floor. We notified[Consumer name withheld at their request] of the variation in the floor on several occasions, before and during installation. The floor varied to a high degree, within 3 feet in multiple locations the height could range half an inch, and a 5 inch drop across the Recreation room which a door obstructed the possibility of being leveled. A fact that Epps was shown with a laser in person. At that time we just started and were instructed to continue, if he was dissatisfied at the little tile we had set, he could have stopped the tile and chose to go with Carpet, a better and typical choice for an unlevel concrete basement floor. Despite such knowledge [Consumer name withheld at their request] chose to stick with tile. It is not possible to have a perfectly level floor, if the surface to which it is installed is not level. [Consumer name withheld at their request] breached the contract and on top of that refused to pay for services rendered leaving us no choice but to rescind the contract. Sandco would never leave an honest customer with work left undone, and we do not hold funds for work that has not been rendered. It is unfortunate that the circumstance has arised, when a customer after given knowledge of the conditions of the project still chooses to pursue and not modify the service or expectation, being under contract we are obligated to serve. No funds for work that has not been rendered is being kept by Sandco. We hope that in the future[Consumer name withheld at their request] listens to his service providers when given information that will affect the outcome of his project. We have photo documentation, of the variation in floor level, using a self-leveling laser. As we have since 2009 and service to hundreds of satisfied customers strive towards high quality work, and the satisfaction of our customers in full faith and honesty."
