The company name comes from the owner military attachment in Bosnia to the United Nations International Police Task Force (IPTF), where he supported the Implementation Force (IFOR). As a U.S. Marine, he served off the coast of Bosnia, Herzegounina and was tasked with Ground Military Police (GMP) monitoring, observation, and inspection. Over the course of his military career, he enjoyed working with GMP's providing facility management and support. He brings this same dedication and experience when managing his clients projects. It was an emergency situation because the forecast called for rain the next day. When I went on Angies List to get someone American Group Construction was the first to reply. Isai was able to come out the same day and place the tarp on the roof. I was so impressed with the professionalism I wanted them to fix the roof. He was very nice and professional. He went over what needed to be done and worked with me with respect to the home insurance company. He kept in touch with me throughout the process and was on time. The work was done as scheduled and was completed on time. I was very pleased with Isai and American Group Construction. I would definitely recommend them for work."

"P. J. McTavish & Co. from Burtonsville, MD was hired to replace and repair a very old damaged roof on my Rancher Home, which has a few additions in the rear. These additions have many peaks, valleys and an area of flat roof. We had many other companies look at it and some didn’t even want to take on the job, and if they did it was for a price I could not afford. I had officially given up hope. This truly was not an easy job to partake in. Hiring P.J. McTavish & Co. was truly the best decision. Mr. Pat was caring and truthful about the horrible shape my roof was in. I knew he was being truly honest, cause I heard from other contractors the same problems. But he assured us his team would do the job as efficiently as possible. Each and everyone on his team were respectful, efficient, and professional. I was so impressed with how his team worked so closely together and seemed to take a lot of respect in their work, and our home and yard…which let’s be honest…you do not see that much in today’s world. Pat kept us well informed of all the progress. There are not enough “Thank You’s” I can give to this whole team of wonderful men. Everyone stayed steadily busy and worked very hard.
