They did two coats to insure none of the previous color bled through. It is perfect. We also had an unexpected water leak right before they started the job and they fixed all of the sheet rocking for us, made it so much easier for us to not have to worry about getting someone else out and you can’t even tell it ever happened!!I highly recommend ABL painting, they show up on time and get the work done. For this job, we had Diaz paint our hallway and master, redo our stairs and stair railing, re-finish and stain the hardwood floors, remove old baseboard heaters, and do a complete renovation of our upstairs bathroom (new paint, new floors, new vanity, new toilet, new lighting, new exhaust fan, etc.). He also helped haul out old furniture, removed an old (non-functional) oil gas tank from the basement, and replaced a broken storm door. One of the great things about working with Diaz is that the answer is always yes. His team is more than just painters - he has skilled craftsmen, workers with expertise in plumbing and electric, and everything else. There is no need to deal with anyone else. If you need something done in (or around) your house Diaz either can do it or has a guy. After contacting Diaz, he came right out for a free estimate. They took care of the city permit for our deck and fence while we took care of the HOA permit, which made it very easy for us since we only had to manage one of the permits. Cesar and the team at A-1 was very responsive to my emails, texts, and calls which I really appreciated. When building the actual fencing and decking, the workers were really polite and meticulous. Our house overlooks a pretty steep cliff and our door leading to the deck is very high, so I applaud them for being able to create something so beautiful for us given the conditions they were facing.
