I hired Merrifield to paint all the walls in my newly purchased condo. They were very responsive to my questions and were able to fulfill my request on a very short timeline (unlike others that I contacted). Jeff at Merrifield was also willing to give me a quote for the job based just on the listing photos. They showed up on time, completed within the agree-upon time frame, and cleaned up. I was so pleased with their work that I immediately hired them to repaint my previous condo to prepare it for showing. The second paint job was just as professional as the first.

Fairly priced, performed on time and with great skill. The Merrifield team has done three significant engagement at our church. On the first, they repainted several very large windows that had suffered water damage and repainted a wall section that had problems. No one in the congregation can tell which windows and wall were painted and which were not. On the second, they dealt with a room with three or four different colors of paint and plaster damaged by removing built-in shelves and cabinet. The result is like new. The last job asked them to deal with damaged trim and walls that had not been panted in years. We needed stop part way down a long hallway. They were able to match colors and feather the transition so as to produce a nearly invisible transition. The plaster in this area has a sandy texture. There repairs to some fairly large areas that look very good. We are already working on a fourth set of problems for Jeff's team to solve. Members who were previously strong advocates for DIY painting have become supporters of finding the funds to hire Merrifield because they can see the real difference it makes.

Marco and Eric were fast and very skillful. They fixed little problems with the walls and ceilings (cracks and dents) and their detail work was wonderful. This is the second job they have done for me and when the time come for the next job, they will be here again.

MPD did a very good job of painting our entire condo, including cabinets and doors. In addition to the painting, they did a fair amount of repair work to some of the walls. They were flexible in timing, and performed the job in less time than originally estimated. They provided suggestions, but were always sure to involve us in final decisions. We did change our approach based on there recommendations, and are glad we did. We would definitely hire them again.

Excellent -- very professional staff

Jeff Sellers gave me a nicely priced quick quote (same day, I believe). He was flexible with my desired start date, had no issue with the many colors I wanted, and advised me on the types of paint I should get. I came by to see the place a few times while the guys were painting, and they were very nice. I thoroughly inspected their finished work and was very impressed. (I am am artist - a painter - so I might be more critical than most!) Jeff gave me lots of helpful tips on how to touch up. Would definitely recommend and use again.

The painting went well. The precision of the work around the windows and where our already existing painted walls to the new painted walls is dead straight. My wife especially likes that fact that when they leave for the night, you can not even tell they were there. Everything spec of dust and drop cloth and tool is neatly arranged and stored away. This is why we have used Merrifield for the last 10 years.

I had a great experience with Merrifield Paint and Design! Jeff was able to schedule the work for the exact days I wanted it, although they were only a couple weeks away. Then as I selected paints and colors, he gave me some great advice about what would work (and what wouldn't). The morning the painting was to begin, Jeff and his team showed up right on time, looked over the job, and gave me confidence that it would get done right. That was important, because i was leaving town for a few days while they were painting. While I was away, Jeff was great about keeping me up to date about how it was going...and explaining problems that arose and how to address them. Then when I returned, I was very pleased to find my place looked WONDERFUL. The work was done with professionalism and care. And they did a fine job with cleaning up and getting the place ready for my return. I was very pleased with Merrifield Paint and Design, and would definitely hire the company again!

In May of 2016, I checked Angie's List for painters. Merrifield Paint and Design had good reviews so I contacted them to see if someone would come out Memorial Day Monday and give me an estimate. I would have understood if the suggestion was declined, but much to my surprise Jeff Sellers came out on Memorial Day Monday. From that time forward excellent customer service and value was what I received. I was given a reasonable estimate and told it would take 5 days to paint the interior of my townhome. We agreed that the work would start July 5, 2016. Jeff was always available to answer questions, and make suggestions. He is a good communicator. Marco and Eduardo, who painted my townhome, arrived at 8:00 every morning and left at 5:00 every afternoon and with the exception of a short lunch break worked the entire time. They were neat and courteous. They finished the work in 4 days rather than 5. The end result is a great improvement. I would recommend Merrifield Paint and Design to anyone who is looking for a good value and great customer service.
