"Will definitely be using him for future electrical work. He knows what he's talking about, loves what he does, and charges a fair price. I started off with an ancient fire hazard stab lok panel with a MESS of exposed or unused wiring and now it looks so clean and safe"

"Job was done right and efficiently. I purchased their membership for ~$13 a month (1yr commitment) b/c we has just bought a new house and it brought the cost down. Subtracting 1 star b/c with the membership I was sold, I was supposed to receive a free house check, which didn’t happen. Electrician just installed the station and was ready to go. I’ve guy though, and did good work."

Customers say: True professional

"Gill, my electrician pro was very professional and gave us top-notch service. My wife and I were moving out of a townhome into a single-family home and needed our Tesla charging station removed from the townhome and into the new home. Gil had everything on his truck that was needed for this job. He updated our circuit breaker to 60 Amp for our Tesla charger, which gave us faster charging speed. He did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him for any electrical project that you may have beyond Tesla chargers. My wife and I appreciated his kindness and his work ethic That made it possible to have the convenience of our Home Tesla charger in our garage. Thanks again, Gil if there’s any other projects that we may have, we will definitely be calling you again."

"We needed a 240v outlet installed for charging an EV. Mario made the process simple from start to final inspection. The outlet needed to be installed LITERALLY as far from our electrical panels as possible, but this posed no insurmountable problem. It's up and running and the vehicle is charging as we "speak". Mario is a no-nonsense guy who clearly explained all phases of the planning and installation. His son, who is planning on becoming an electrician, helped with drilling holes in beams, etc. The charge for the outlet was far less than other estimates we received. All in all, I can't think of anything negative to say about Mario Falconio Electric, and we'll call him first for any other electrical needs."

"Great customer service, electrician was on time. Explained everything that needed to be done. Completed the work and tested all new equipment. Also did a complimentary electrical review of entire house, which was very nice since it was not an additional charge."

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Local electricians with experience in your area understand the local building codes, which is very important when doing new electrical work. They also have experience with the kind of electrical problems homes in your location may have, and even the components that were used in the original construction, which leads them to make faster and better decisions.

The cost of installing a 240-volt outlet for an electric car averages between $175 and $300. Depending on the type of outlet as well as labor costs, you might pay as little as $130 or upwards of $400. Hiring a professional electrician makes up the bulk of the expense but ensures a safe and code-compliant installation.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.

Yes, electricians must be licensed, certified, and in most cases, insured. Licensing requirements vary by state and local municipality, but most U.S. municipalities require electricians to hold an electrical contractor’s license. It's always a good practice to confirm requirements with your local municipality. Even if licensing is not required in your area, hiring a licensed and experienced electrician often leads to a better end result.

A license is a legal requirement to operate a business and is necessary for pulling project permits. Certifications, on the other hand, are typically voluntary and demonstrate a certain level of expertise. In some cases, a certified electrician may send an apprentice or journeyman to perform the work, but they must operate under a primary electrician who holds the proper license.

Before hiring, you should verify the electrician's license, insurance coverage, and any third-party certifications. You can use Angi’s contractor licensing search to confirm a pro's license status. Additionally, businesses with the “Angi Approved” badge on our platform meet strict criteria, including having the required state and local licenses, passing a background check, and maintaining a high average rating.
