"On August 30, I contacted Angie’s list because I needed an exterior door installed as soon as possible. Angie’s list matched me with several companies. I met with representatives of these companies but their price was too high (high pressure salesman from one company) and/or the work could not be done immediately. A friend then recommended that I try Jose Amaya Remodeling as she and her husband had used them for renovations on their home. I am so glad that she did. I was initially worried that the work of installing my exterior door would not be a priority with any company since it was such a small job. My unease was alleviated after meeting with Jose to discuss the work that I needed done and obtain an estimate. Jose also helped me figure out the type of door that would work best for me. We consulted with several companies and decided to go with The Hone Doctor for our attic insulation. The company rep, Chris Lear, was very good explaining what they would do and why our attic needed R-38 insulation. I knew we needed more but did not realize our attic was only R-13. I have worked with numerous contractors before on projects and felt this was a really good company plus they have great reviews. The installation of the attic insulation went very well. They do install siding as well but decided to put this project off for now. Would highly recommend this company."
