Great Company. I did my research with different solar panel installation companies and found that Green Power Energy was one of the best in the region when it comes to customer service, managing the project timelines, and coordinating with the utilities, and townships for approvals. Everyone was very helpful during the entire project lifecycle.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Green Power Energy. After they installed and activated my solar system on April 24, 2025, my home immediately began experiencing electrical issues—flickering lights and unstable power. A licensed electrician ultimately diagnosed a damaged meter lug, a serious and potentially dangerous problem. United Illuminated (the utility) confirmed that their work on the bidirectional meter did not affect the damaged connection. That leaves Green Power Energy’s installation as the likely source of the damage. Despite this, the company refused to accept responsibility, even after being presented with the electrician’s findings. This is about accountability. When something goes wrong, homeowners deserve more than a denial. Beware!

Green Power Energy has been a great solar company to work with. They have been extremely easy and informative on all the benefits of going solar. Also, they were very patient with me. I started looking into solar in Oct 2023 and did not make a decision until Feb 2024. During that time, they sent me very few emails just to know that they were around for when I was ready to make a decision. I decided to go with Green Power because of their customer service. Anytime I had a question, I was able to ask via email or phone and received a response within a day. I would expect that if I ever had any issues, they would respond similarly. I'm very happy with the service so far and am referring them to anyone I know who is interested in going solar.

Great experience from start to finish. Our initial contact and consultant, Austin Dow was knowledgeable and patient answering all of my many questions to help me understand the complexity of everything that goes along with solar panels. Austin and everyone at GP made the process easy and stress free and kept me updated every step of the way. The install crew was professional, clean, and did a wonderful job installing the panels. Once the panels were installed Kevin Nally walked me through a very detailed step by step process of how the panels work and what I would need to do to get the most out of our new solar production. We have had our system up and running since 6/17/22 with no issues and have been pleased with the production and SREC credits that we have received so far. I highly recommend using Green Power Energy for your solar power needs.

Overall experience with Green Power Energy has been amazing - and has exceeded expectations.
